Today's news story the Democrats at The Swamp won't touch: the latest House spending bill, passed by Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats, contains 9,000 earmarks.
During the campaign Obama pledged to stop earmarks. Will he veto this bill--which, ironically, contains an earmark of his own, from when he was a senator? Or will Obama's "no earmarks" pledge have the same short shelf life of his other pledges? See http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0209/19411.html for more.

Geez, no story about that crack U.S. Attorney Fitzgerald and his inability, again, to send a " notorious " Chicago politician to jail !! " Where is the beef? " against Governor Blagojevich ? Oh, that's right, he's still trying to nail ex-Vice-President Cheney, for his part in the Plame case !! I wonder why he didn't use federal troops to bring in Scooter Libby, when he " charged " him with wrong-doing? Thank God, for the media, they are always so useful, especially when they are more interested in power plays, than the truth !!
Run, Roland Run !!!
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, BRING THEM HOME, ALIVE AND WHOLE. NOW.

I'm with you, Don. I do NOT get why the big focus on Burris. SO WHAT if someone wanted to give his son a leg up! You think Maria Shriver didn't get a gig as a broadcaster cuz she's got a famous political family name behind her? You think that's NOT how EVERYONE got their factory job since the beginning of the industrial revolution--by KNOWING someone on the inside? (That's why we had affirmative action!) good grief.
Bring ALL THE TROOPS HOME NOW.
