The president had Tony Bennett at his party's fundraiser last night, but a House Republican leader had Britney Spears for a draw.
As the Huffington Post put it, "There was more than one whip at last night's Britney Spears concert in Washington DC."
That would be House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) who staged a fundraiser last night at the pop star's "Circus" tour concert at the Verizon Center, where, as the Washington Post's Sleuth notes of a J. Freedom du Lac report: Spears dressed as a dominatrix and carried a bejeweled whip.
"Cantor had to skip much of his party's big annual fundraiser last night for House GOP candidates to go rake in money for his own campaign at Ms. Baby One More Time's show,'' the Post's Sleuth notes. "He left the GOP dinner around 9 p.m., we're told, to head over to the Verizon Center.
"If suffering through a Britney Spears concert will raise one more dime to help Republicans take back the House, then next time there should be 100 more members sitting there with Cantor," a source tells the Sleuth.
"Cantor's office declined to discuss the Britney-Eric show, so we weren't able to find out whether he's a closeted Britney fan,'' the Sleuth adds. "The congressman does, however, have a teenage daughter, so we suspect he may know at least a few words from the "Circus" album.''

Um, why was Cantor at a Britany concert? The only men I know who like Britany enough to go to one of her "concerts" are gay. I mean really gay. Is Cantor a "Wide Stance" Republican?

Britney is the GOP poster girl. She's a hypocrite, dumb as a bag of rocks and a low-information voter.
In an interview with Tucker Carlson in 2003, said this about Shrub Jr:
.
"Honestly, I think we should just trust our president in every decision he makes and should just support that, you know, and be faithful in what happens."

The hypocrisy of the Wingnuts is stunning, they complain that Obama, when engaging in anything but the economy, is shirking his duty, while at the same time they're going to Britney Spears concerts.

The only reason he should have gone was that he was escorting an 11 year old girl to the concert, otherwise it's just creepy! He's creepy!

Who paid for the his concert ticket? (They run over $500 sometimes.)
Follow the money, as they say.
