Here's a hat trick: A gallery in West Hollywood is rolling out a photo exhibit of images of the young Barack Obama.
It seems that Obama had once struck a fellow Occidental College freshman, Lisa Jack, "as a pretty cool dude,'' the Ticket's Andrew Malcolm notes. "So, unwittingly, she had him pose for a bunch of photos as the only person to know he would become president.''
Jack is now an assistant professor of clinical psychology at Augsburg College in Minnesota, Obama president of the United States.
Starting in late May, as the L.A. Times' Culture Monster arts blog notes, Jack's 36-photo collection of Obama images will stand for a two-month show at the M+B Gallery in West Hollywood. The 36 shots were captured on a single roll, which, as we recall from the pre-digital era, would pretty much represent a whole roll of film - unless she rolled her own.
""Barack Obama: The Freshman,'' is the name of the exhibit in the city where, 29 years ago, a 20-year-old aspiring photographer asked her classmate to pose for pictures.
Now Obama can say he once knew Jack.

Actually I hear Mittens looks the same as he did in Highschool.

Mittens is from the same town in MI as Madonna, so there might be a wild streak there we don't know about.

What a bunch of fools. Who cares about photos of Obama. You're acting as if he's some sort of god. It's absolutely incredible. You all are in a haze and missing what this guy is really doing to this country. He's going against everything this country was founded upon and it will bring us down. Mark my words. Or don't you really care. Just as long as a black guy is in office everthing is OK, right? You need to wake up and get out of this dream cloud you're in.
