I'm surprised Faux isn't airing a "24" marathon at that time. They love to pretend that torture and war crimes are as American as apple pie.

Too bad FOX suffers from "shoot yourself in the foot syndrome". I do not think they should comment on the address if they won't air the address. What say the Fox Friends Fans? How can anyone take them seriously if they won't even listen to what he has to say???

That FOX won't air the comments of our commander in chief at a time of war is an insult to the president and all of America. Where is an apology?

Hey, Markie, seems you weren't this upset when ABC, CBS and NBC refused to air a number of Bush press coferences and speeches in favor of entertainment TV. Seems like those networks said, "If people want to see the Bush press conferences, they can watch it on our sister cable news networks."

So what? If every other news station is carrying the Obama-self-love-fest, including the FNC, then why does the Fox Network channel have to carry it too? Is anyone going after Oxygen, CMT, G4, TCC, THC, ESPN, Bravo, or any of the other cable channels for not carrying it? The fact that so many other television news outlets are carrying it seems to be reason enough not to do so. After all, isn’t it okay for some television channels to accommodate people like me, who don’t care to listen to YOUR SAVIOR and his minions engaged in well scripted self-adoration and adulation? If I wanted the effect this would have on me, I would take an emetic.

"News conference". I heard enough of his "uh, uh, uh" during the campaign. He had his own channel, 24/7 on Dish Network leading up to the election. I have no interest in anything the Anti Christ has to say. Jan 20, 2013 cannot come fast enough for me!

Fox TV, the one that airs House, Bones, 24, American Idol, is choosing to go with its regular entertainment programming. FOX NEWS CHANNEL WILL BE SHOWING the Obama/Press Lovefest. Fox TV and FNC are two different outfits. Heck, Family Guy, a FOX TV show, just likened FNC to Hitler.

Why didn’t you recall me crying about it? I’ll tell you why. You didn’t recall it because the aircraft landing in question occurred on May 1, 2003, nearly three years before the Swamp opened for business (January 3, 2006), and four years before I started posting here (@ 2nd Qtr. 2007). Since I never visited other blogs, much less the idiotic blogs you suck up to and plagiarize material from, you would have never had a realistic opportunity to hear my ideas about it “when he landed” on the aircraft carrier. In the second place, not everything that crosses my mind has to come rolling off my tongue or out my fingertips (as it were). In the third place, by the time I started posting here, I was sick of hearing about Duh’bya’s carrier landing from listening to Keith Olbermann crow about it for years.

It's unclear to me why Fox is going to be showing "Lie to Me", given that viewers can get that 24/7 on Fox "News" channel.

Hope he does not have another TelePrompTer failure. But the Swamp will post the WH version without the "uhhs" and "ahhs" with a few revised and enhanced Axel additions. I'm sure, just to clean it up. Grab a six-pack and watch reruns of NASCAR, then catch the slobberfest on any of the Obama networks owned by GE which is playing for the big "green tax" payday. Now that is fair and balanced.

Fox is not news. It's lies and falsehoods and disinformation put foward by a queer lot of Rupert Murdoch puppets. Most people who view Fox are incapable of independent thought. Murdoch is an unpatriotic coward.

The address will be a review of all the other teleprompter addresses, The administration indicated that they really don't put much stock in this "100 day" thing and that they're just playing along for the benefit of the media, so I don't see what the problem is that Fox isn't carrying it.

How many Bush prime time press conferences (or self love fests, as I'm sure John W called them, then, right John?) did Fox decide not to carry?

Frankly, I'm suprised the other "networks" are carrying the conference. Seems to me there's been a long national discussion about the dumbing down of the "public" airwaves over the last decade or two. Networks put on "reality" shows rather than information or entertainment programming to get the dwindling commercial revenues they can get. They are not an arm of the public trust anymore. Want to be enlightened? Watch PBS. Want your brain and intellect turned into jelly, watch the commercial networks. Seems to me if you think some 18 to 25 year old who sings is the "American Idol" you probably wouldn't understand anything brought up at the press conference anyway.

Who cares what you Yo-bamites think? You have drunk the Kool Aid, and you would defend this domestic enemy of the Contstitution of the USA no matter what he does.

I don't see where the news is on this article. FOX has a right to decide what it airs and, if it decides not to air Obama's press conference, I can not watch that channel (as indeed I habitually do not watch it any other day of the week, just like clockwork). I'd bet that even if they DID air the conference, I'd watch it from a different channel, so it's certainly nothing to me WHAT they do.

To which Fox are you referring? The Fox News Channel or Fox Network? The first probably ran all of Duh’bya’s news conferences. I am not so sure about the second. The second isn’t a 24/7 news station like the FNC. However, the flap here is because the Fox Network has scheduled alternate programming.

I wouldn’t call Duh’bya’s news conferences self-love-fest. He was often too inept at English to say what he wanted to say, much less indulge in much self-adulation.
