Joe Biden versus Karl Rove.
Fair fight?
Vice President Biden speaks very plainly about the time he reportedly told former President George W. Bush to his face that, if he thought he was leading the nation, no one was following.
Rove, former chief political adviser in the Bush White House and "architect'' of Bush's campaigns, says very plainly that Biden said no such thing. He says a few things about Biden that might get your attention, too:
"I hate to say this, but he's a serial exaggerator," Rove told FOX News yesterday. "If I was being unkind I would say 'liar.' But it is a habit he ought to drop... You should not exaggerate and lie like this when you are the vice president of the United States."
Biden spokesman Jay Carney has told FOX News: "The vice president stands by his remarks."
Those remarks, which Biden recalled during an interview with CNN earlier this week in which he also called former Vice President Dick Cheney "dead wrong'' about President Barack Obama making the nation less safe - which is another fight altogether:
"I remember President Bush saying to me one time in the Oval Office," Biden said. "''Well, Joe,' he said, 'I'm a leader.' And I said: 'Mr. President, turn around and look behind you. No one is following.'"
Purely "fictional," says Rove, who is a contributor to FOX News and told FOX's Megyn Kelly in an interview taped for On The Record. "It's his imagination; it's a made-up, fictional world... He ought to get out of it and get back to reality... He's making this up out of whole cloth."
Bush could settle this argument, for sure, but he already has offered Obama his "silence,'' and we assume that extends to Biden as well.

Karl Rove has to be the most consistently cynical and transparent of the pantheon of Fat, White, Republican Blowhards. He actually had the nerve to say, "You should not exaggerate and lie like this when you are the vice president of the United States."
The entire Bush Administration, which he had a major part in creating, propping up and manipulating, was nothing more than an increasing series of lies and exaggerations. Tell us again, Karl, why we're in Iraq? Because they definitely have WMD's, because we're moments away from a Mushroom Cloud, because we'll only need 50,000 troops and because we'll be welcomed as liberators???? Those are lies and exaggerations that cost tens of thousands of lives. Whatever Biden says pales in comparison.
Karl Rove, you are a member of the Republican Party and a traitor. Take him away!!

Sure 'Hairplant-JOE' has made incessant references to being called 'CHUMP' by his father in Depressionville, PENNSYLVANIA -"...to get up after falling down so many times" cuz 'HAIRPLUG-JOE' was a special needs child + adult who was eventually allowed to 'ride' the trains all by himself. SO WHAT IF HE LIES CONSTANTLY OR 'BROKERS' DEALS FOR HIS SONS+BROTHER AT COST TO THE US TAXPAYERS??? Whom has he really hurt??? 'HAIRPLUG-JOE' was a YANQUIS FAN and rooted for MICKEY MANTLE and gave YOGI BERRA most of his absurd stoopidisms as wisdom of a US SENATURD!!! Okay, let's hold up Rove to his own standard, and dissect what HE said:
1) "I hate to say this, but..." Give me a break! Does he wish he could say nice things about Biden? Who's lying there?
2) "Biden is a serial exaggerator". Man, that's rich! What a great quote! That's almost like saying, "he always exaggerates".
Biden's best reply would be to site Peewee Hermann: "I know you are but what am I?"
Now I know it may seem far fetched some, but believe it or not Rove doesn't have a reputation for being the most upstanding individual. For instance, take the time he was fired by Bush Sr. -- for lying.
If it's Rove's word against Biden's, I gotta go with Biden.

Joe Biden is such a weak man...he has spent his entire life exaggerating his accomplishments. If this guy did not have a (D) next to his name...the media would be ridiculing him all day long. But he's a Democrat...so lying, cheating, stealing doesn't matter!!!!!

While I would like to believe that Biden actually talked that kind of straight talk to the former president, it's hard to discount Rove's assessment. When it comes to "serial "exaggeration and "made-up fictional world(s)," there are simply no more greater experts than Rove and his masters at Fox News.

The Repuglican party has become a national joke.
What's next? Will Rush accuse someone of being an evil blimp on drugs? Will Cheney complain that Biden smells like sulphur and brimstone and eats children? Will Sarah Palin mock Jed Clampitt for being a jumped-up yokel?
I'm just sick of hearing any news about Karl Rove that doesn't involve him being frogmarched off to prison.

If the " Bloated One " says Vice-President Biden didn't say that to ex-President Bush, than, I know he did say that to the ex-President !! Mr. Rove is a certifiable liar, so if you want to know accuracy from Rove, always believe the opposite of what he states !! Are you sure that Rush the Lush is not an identical twin to Carl the Gaffe !!?? No, they are Tweedledee and Tweedlededumb !!

I have 4 words for the veracity of anything that Karl Rove and Dick Cheney say: Valerie Plame and Scooter Libby.
Also there is a video at You Tube of Joe Biden giving George Bush what-for over Iraq from the senate floor. I find it perfectly believable that he did it also face to face, and hardly surprising that the other side would deny it.
