Michelle Obama has some Cinco de Mayo plans.
They don't involve a funnel and a case of Modelo.
On Monday, the First Lady plans tol attend a Hispanic Heritage event at a local school in celebration of Cinco de Mayo, which of course is the next day.
On the Fifth, she will travel to New York -- in one of thosed "closed containers'' that Vice President Joe Biden is warning people about -- to visit the United States mission to the United Nations with Ambassador Susan Rice. Rice and Obama will both speak there.
And that night, the First Lady will attend Time magazine's "100 Most Influential People Gala.'' She is on the list -- as is the the president.
As the White House notes, picking up Time's line on this list, it's "an inspirational collection of thinkers, artists, leaders and revolutionaries who are changing the world through social innovation.'''
