The spouses of the G-20 summit got a morning of mingling, music and other entertainment at the Royal Opera House today.
Michelle Obama arrived wearing a turquoise outfit, with a billowy skirt and cardigan cross-hatched in white, black and burgundy and matching low heels. It was pure Jason Wu.
Hostess Sarah Brown, wife of the British prime minister, wore a midnight blue knee-length skirt and top by "her favorite designer" Graeme Black, according to her press staff.
The arriving guests found cookies, bottled water and wine: (D'Arenberg, The Olive Grove Chardonnay, McLaren Vale, South Australia 2007; Loredona, Monterrey County Pinot Noir, 2006)
J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, also dropped in. She was planning to perform with a reading from her work, The Tales of Beedle and the Baird.
Notably absent: The two first men at the summit, the husband of Germany's Merkel and the husband of Argentina's Kirchner.
Ladies' morning out.

Comments
The british press tore into both the prime minister's wife style as well as Blackie O.
If the President has the best experts, why can't his wife get good fashion advice.
Pathetic, wrinkling, tight, breast baring (meeting with queen outfit- actual pix of queen looking at M's boobs), too short skirt (could see the lining of skirt peeking out when sitting down and space between M's legs! yuck).
Where are the experts? Very inappropriate, but thankfully, a disaster averted with the spread of M's legs when sitting. Watch out in the future!

Our First Lady, Mrs Obama, sure looks great. She is a great representative of America and I can't wait for her to get back to our nation and help President Obama move his agenda for America. It's a bright, sunny-shining day, America !! We did a great thing for our country, America, in electing Mr. and Mrs. Obama to our Executive Branch. A real breath of fresh air, not a miracle worker, or a messiah, like some wingnuts like to name-call him !! Just an American trying to help us, get our country back from the scoundrels in our financial world and else where !! Keep on truckin', President and Mrs. Obama !! You are making an honest effort and we thank you, for that !!
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, BRING THEM HOME, ALIVE AND WHOLE. NOW.

Look at the many, many pictures from the British press; can't depend on the US press.
No couth: shortest clothing and most revealing.
Hard to dispute photos.
Google: UK Daily News and see articles and pictures.

The classiest woman at the G-20 was the prime minister of Japan's wife.
Ready for asians/indians to take the White House.

Jodie -- um, that wasn't the lining. It was a tulle underskirt. It was supposed to be that way. And the Queen wasn't "looking" at her chest because she was baring her breasts -- that's the height difference.
Joe D -- (yeah, "Joe D" "jodie" whatever) You talk as if her skirts were minis. They have all be at or below the knee. Would you have her in a Burqa?
And dona -- if you mean "classiest" as in the most old-fashioned, demure and deferential to her husband? Then yes.
Some people need to seriously wake up and smell the 21st Century.
