The French have turned the tables on "Freedom Fries.''
Those are the French-fried potatoes that they started selling in Washington after the French refused to support the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq.
Now that the Obama administration is intent on withdrawing from Iraq, and President Barack Obama has passed through Strasbourg on his way to Baghdad, the French are serving up something else:
The "Obama Special Burger,'' pictured here with a photograph of the popular American first lady inside a snack bar in Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
But, take note: This is not a presidential plate.
This American specialty on a bun allegedly is based on a recipe by Michelle Obama herself. Hold the arugula.
