Somali pirates, Rod Blagojevich, Ron Paul and Susan Boyle.
What a week.
In review, MSNBC's Willie Geist starts with Susan Boyle's performance on Britain's Got Talent and its 20-million-view online video as the least of it all.
Hard to compete with the interview and faux seduction that the new character portrayed by Sasha Baron Cohen, the actor-comedian who brought us Borat, conducted with Ron Paul, erstwhile candidate for president.
Or the indicted former governor of Illinois, reality TV star.
Or that three-shot rescue of Captain Richard Phillips.
Enjoy the weekend. Come see us.
And "Ron Paul revolution:" Listen here:

Ron Paul got Punk'd!
Ha ha ha! I hope that makes it into the final cut of the movie.

Mark,
Will you get the new Obama terminology correct - it is not "pirates". These young misguided teenagers are "Ocean Loving Inventory Shrinkage Specialists"

Have a great weekend everyone:
"This is like the Boston tea party for people that decided, let's say, I don't know, two and a half months ago, that they didn't want to pay taxes anymore. The tea part is just a metaphor [on screen: a Fox News reporter pointing to boxes at one of the tea parties containing a million tea bags]. Let me get this straight. To protest wasteful spending, you bought a million tea bags. Are you protesting taxes or irony?"

--Jon Stewart, on the teabagger party protests
"Some Americans did a very dumb thing today. They had tea party protests. They've been mailing tea bags to Congress to I guess express their dissatisfaction with taxes and government spending because nothing shakes a politician up like a complimentary bag of tea. 'Hey if you don't straighten up next year, crumpets, buddy.'"
--Jimmy Kimmel
"I heard this coming out here a few minutes ago. Apparently, Rush Limbaugh's dog said it hopes that Obama's dog fails."
--David Letterman
"Of course, the big story is that the Obamas got their new puppy! How about that, huh? On Fox News, they declared that the dog is a Muslim socialist."
--Jay Leno
"But on the plus side, if Texas did secede from the Union, we could invade them for the oil."
--Jay Leno
"Yesterday, the governor of Texas, Rick Perry, said Texans are fed up with Washington. He said they might secede from the rest of America. If Texas forms their own country, they could be invaded by Mexico. They'll have to change their name to Texico."
--Craig Ferguson

The week's not over... Obama's Rasmussen Poll #'s Go Negative Tomorrow, IMO
His approval index was down to a measly +2 last week- and the TEA Parties couldn't have helped any, rather they made a mockery of the "everybody loves Barack" rubbbish... because millions of us don't.
The vast majority of Americans DON'T want a massive government sector and all the weird totalitarian schemes Barack has up his sleeve- and now the ones who had given him the benefit of the doubt are starting to figure out just what he's up to... and they don't like it.
Obama can expect SERIOUS resistance from this point-on... because what he's doing both at-home and abroad is resolutely un-American.
