One extremely bad idea: Chicago getting the Olympics !! From a third-rate mass transit system to 6-7 million people being displaced, disrupted and disagreeable, doesn't make for a good sporting event, particularly, a monied venture !! It is ludicrous to even imagine, such a boondoggle, let alone support it !! I urge all parties to rethink, such a notion, including President Obama. We don't need any stinking Olympics, complete with professional athletes, pretending to be amateurs !!

If the olympics were to come to Chicago, it might wake up a certain guy that likes to sleep in a city dump truck under the viaduct.

Dear Swamp,
Please do an elaborate piece on the shooting in Pittsburgh and how it pertains to a larger issue concerning the imminent ban on assault weapons as detailed by AG Eric Holder and what will happen when it comes time to actually round up these weapons from those who seriously live by their AK47.
