'Air Force One' photo: Coming this week

Why don't you mention that FOX NEWS filed a suit under the freedom of information act? Fox is also asking for the passenger list for the flight and what they were served for lunch.

That's right bill r. I don't care about any photograph. I just don't like people trying to hide them from me when I paid for them. And did you catch the "we will release ONE photo" bit? Look, if I'm going to pretend to want to see one of the photos, I'm sure as hell going to pretend to want to see the rest.

Who was on the flight other than the crew and why were they on there?

hopefully this will put the topic to rest. You dont see people ranting about what the cost of successful bills or positive resulting trips with foreign leaders cost. To think that people actually thought Obama even knew about this photo op before it happened still astounds me.

Wow, the White House, after saying they won't release any photos and Jerk-In-Chief Robert Fibbs saying he knew nothing about the photos, is now going to release A photo!! Whooppeee!
By the way, Obama said he was outraged by the stunt. Hmmm, isn't Air Force One his plane? Isn't he responsible for what happens under his badministration? Shouldn't he know what happens to Air Force One? Or any of the planes that make up Air Force One? Hasn't he been jetting all across the country for this photo op, that bill signing event, etc? He knew nothing about this BEFORE it happened? Yeah, right!

Not good enough, Mr. President. Release all the photos, all the facts.

In related news, today's broken Obama campaign pledge involves the promised but not delivered "transparency". From USA Today:
"WASHINGTON — Although President Obama has vowed that citizens will be able to track "every dime" of the $787 billion stimulus bill, a government website dedicated to the spending won't have details on contracts and grants until October and may not be complete until next spring — halfway through the program, administration officials said.
Recovery.gov now lists programs being funded by the stimulus money, but provides no details on who received the grants and contracts. Agencies won't report that data until Oct. 10, according to Earl Devaney, chairman of the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board, which manages the website."

If this had happened while Bush was president the media would have been absolutely up in arms screaming about this. But favorite son Obama does this and everyone is looking to smooth it over. It's rediculous and sad.

Listen, idiot, FOIA applies only to government agencies, and even then does not cover prersonal information on individuals, so birth certificates, medical records, college transcripts, admission applications, passport data aren't covered by the act.

I wish it did. I'd love to request your school records. Was your GPA in negative numbers?

Listen up folks!, "H" was outraged over the incident. Give me a break heads should roll over this latest fiasco. I would also like to know why the President didn't know about this fly over. And if he truly did not know, then I have to question his ability to be the President of the only super power left on the planet. I have to tell you this job is too big for "H".

The BO White Hosue will spare no expense to release photos of our troops and CIA agents interogating terrorists. Photos that will increase the danger our troops and CIA agents face on a daily basis. However, the photo of Air Force buzzing the New York skyline take a lawsuit to get someone from the White House to go to Photo Hut and pick it up.

So much for transparency.

Signals some serious command deficiencies in WH of which Prez needs to take note and needs to correct before they result in a really big screw up.

I really cannot understand why liberals don't want to know who was on the plane. Aren't they curious to whether the WH explanation is true? That's why we want to see the pictures. Was this like the Lincoln Bedroom escapades? Were there Democratic donors on the plane? Soros? Penn? Bono? Striesand? What was the carbon footprint of that trip?

At least they didn't drape the plane with a banner that said "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED".

Right; sure it will be 'the' photo taken on that day!! All of a sudden they 'found' it. No; they're creating it via PhotoShop. They're all such a bunch of 'transparent' liars that I don't believe a word that comes out of them. If their mouths are moving, they're lying. It will be interesting to see what they come up with that was worth $329,000 of OUR money!

Something is not right here, and most of the media is not pushing for answers!
Why were those that should have known, such as the FBI and other goverment officials not told of the flight? Who was aboard both planes? Names please! What is the name of the photographer who did the so-called "photo op"? Wouldn't the media want to get his version of the incident? Why were photographs not released right away? When Obama pets his dog at the White House, we see photographs within hours of it happening! There seems to be a cover-up and I don't like it!

Hmmm...Good looking out....2 years ago I hoped they would do this flyby...It shows the weak links in National Security can be breached...Great learning experience for the chain...Now I would buy the photo over the Statue of Liberty for sure...Help pay back some fuel cost out of my own pocket for this Historic moment
