Life outside the bubble:
The Obamas went out for dinner tonight.
And they didn't go for clam strips at the HoJo.
The first couple slipped out of the White House tonight for dinner at Citronelle, one of Washington's premier restaurants, the production of a prize-winning chef, Michel Richard, with a wine cellar holding about 8,000 bottles.
The president wore a dark suit but no tie, the first lady a white sleeves-rolled blouse tied in the back, with black capri pants, her hair pulled tight in a pony tail.
A crowd assembled on M Street outside the restaurant, with one woman pacing and shouting into a bullhorn: "This is so great that you are here... Create fear and terror."
The crowd appeared to ignore her.
The Obamas, who had left the White House by motorcade just before 6 pm EDT, left the restaurant for the return home just before 8.
They strolled the South Lawn a bit.
The Bulls were playing.

Those screaming memes just can't wait to terrorize the public. President and Mrs. Obama go out for dinner and they are harassed by that most patriotic of Americans, the conservatives, or someone who has read their playbook. We sure do live in a great nation. The President and First Lady can go out and eat with the rest of our citizenry and the Rabid Right can express themselves, in the most efficient method they know, terrorize !! Only in America !!

As Chris Mathews would say, there's a thrill running down my leg.
But what can you say.... We're just lucky to live on the same planet, to breath the same air, as the greatest orator, most brilliant politician, wisest counselor, most beautiful first lady, basketball star, humorist extraordinary....
And anyone who doesn't agree with all that is a BushHitlerFascist!

This is pretty much the republicans problem in a nut shell. America has pretty much ignored them. The funny thing is that the idiots think...oh....maybe if I shout louder they'll care. They just don't get it that the American people want answers, ideas, and not just stupid catch phrases like socialist, hopeychange, Bill Ayers, and all the other old regurgitated names they have thrown out that didn't work in the past and hasn't got a chance in hell of working in the future. Stuck on stupid seems here for awhile.

People on the left criticizing someone for protesting? As if liberals showed respect for the Bushes when they went out anywhere for anything.....
I think it's a shame someone would ruin other people's time in Georgetown with a bullhorn, but to post comments with that kinda of double standard is just further proof of the rose colored glasses liberals love to wear.

I was not aware or remember that George and His wife ever went out like the Obamas on a date night...or did they and no one thuoght it was important enough to report on it?
