The weather held long enough on a foreboding day in Washington, with the rain starting to fall now, for "Renegade,'' a.k.a. the president, to fit in 18 holes of golf.
President Barack Obama's golf outing -- his eighth here since election -- included Commerce Secretary Gary Locke and administration aides Marvin Nicholson and Eugene Kang (wearing a University of Michigan hat).
The press pool that spent four hours cooling its heels at Andrews Air Force Base today initially had been told Obama would play only nine holes at the base course, but Nicholson reported that the weather held up and there was no need to quit at the turn.
"Renegade departed the 10th green,'' the pool could hear on the radio.
Who won?
"You'll have to ask Gibbs,'' Nicholson said after arriving back at the White House.

Obama could have spent his time doing what we pay him for--for example, reading the trillion dollar energy tax boondoggle bill the House just passed.
But why expect a president to read the massive legislation he touts? It's so much easier to praise something you know nothing about.....

No Change: First, it was a Sunday. Second, I don't think you realize the importance of golf in business.

Shows where his mind is, not on reducing taxes, when you are a high living messiah you don't worry about the tax payers.

Yeah Joe, It's that kind of business dealings that have this country in the dumper now. When you're President of the United States the week doesn't end on Friday at 5:00pm either for your information Joe.

We need a Pr4sident who never takes a break form serving the American people, not for a second. We need another George W. Bush. Bush never paused from his work. He took not a single vacation day, not one! He remained hard at work in the oval office 7 days a week, 20 hours a day. Every meal was a working meal. He ignored his family for 8 years so he could do the peoples work. He limited himself to 4 hours of sleep a night, so that he coulkd read every line of every bill before the congress personally. We need that kind of dedication again.

No Change -- so you'd rather he spent every waking moment working; no time to recharge his batteries, refresh his mind or clear his head? Yeah, that'll get us far.
