It may come as little surprise that the top-30 "Washington insiders'' on Twitter include a lot of media types - David Gregory of Meet the Press, Rachel Maddow of MSNBC, Mike Allen of Politico, Howard Kurtz of the Washington Post, etc.
But according to The Atlantic, some lawmakers also make the list.
("OMG,'' says the spokesman for one, Florida Sen. Bill Nelson's Dan McLaughlin.)
The list includes Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz:)
"Obama has more czars than the Romanovs - who ruled Russia for 3 centuries. Romanovs 18, cyberczar makes 20.
"North Korean nuclear blast provocative and dangerous - sanctions and Chinese pressure absolutely necessary.
"Admin claims 150,000 jobs "Saved or Created"-what about the 1.6 million American jobs lost & unemployment topping 9.4% since the "Stimulus"? ''
Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.):
"Ok. I'm mad about these yahoos on Wall Street taking bonuses and trying to buy fancy jets on the taypayers dime''
Nelson (D-Fla.):
"can't believe some Florida lawmakers might actually be serious about allowing oil drilling within ten miles offshore.
"White House tells me the president will fly all nine remaining shuttle missions - even if it means flying the shuttle an extra year.
And, no lawmaker he (troublemaker, in some books): Karl Rove, "architect'' of George W. Bush's presidential elections:
"If Obama signs into law a "public option" as part of health-care reform we won't be able to undo the damage.
"F&F [Fox and Friends] topic: Cheney "favorable" rating up 8% since leaving office according to CNN poll.''

Grumpy Old Men - Top 7 Conservative New Media FAILS So Far this Year:
A fun pattern has emerged among the Republican efforts to reach out to voters through the new social-networking online media: They're failing massively, with episodes that just make them look stupid and ham-fisted, and even sometimes force them to apologize for offending people.
In just the last few days, we had two ignominious events from just one state. A prominent South Carolina GOP activist, Rusty DePass, said on his Facebook page that Michelle Obama was a gorilla (and not in the sense of the evolutionary fact that we are all apes -- DePass actually seems to be offended by this). He kind of apologized -- but said Michelle started it.
And another South Carolina Republican operative, Mike Green, apologized for a racist Tweet against President Obama himself:

"If Obama signs into law a "public option" as part of health-care reform we won't be able to undo the damage."
What Rove means is that the GOP will not recover. That's all he has ever cared about anyway.

Karl Rove can "Twitter", but he's too COWARDLY to talk to Congress under oath about his involvement in the firing US Attorney Generals for political reasons.

Say hey!! McCain, Rove, and Cheney, WOW, what a motley bunch. McCain says the health insurance of people should be taxed! He does't even pay taxes on his 58,000 dollar pension, while I pay taxes on my pension and my social security!! WHAT THE HEY!! Sell me life insurance, auto insurance, accident insurance or property insurance. ;HEALTH INSURANCE IS A RACKET DREAMED UP BY THE INSURANCE COMPANIES. THEY PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE MADOFF AND ABRAMOFF RUNNING THAT RACKET. THEY DON'T SELL INSURANCE TO SICK PEOPLE, ONLY HEALTHY ONES. If the citizen's of this country don't get health care, then no one should get health care paid for by the citizen's, PERIOD!! That includes teachers, police, firemen, postal workers, federal, state and local workers, and anyone who gets health care paid for by the taxpayer!! PERIOD!! EVERYONE GETS HEALTH CARE OR NOBODY GETS HEALTHCARE, PERIOD!!whiteagle38

McCain should keep quiet. He still goes on about his VietNam experience as though it is something to be proud of. It was NOT A LEGAL WAR!!! And it was under the GOP that Kent State happened! We killed our own students!!! The ignorance of McCain, Bush, Palin and their ilk it not to be believed.
