Hillary Clinton may have slipped and fallen at the State Department, but the Secretary of State insists she has not lost her grip on the job as the nation's chief diplomat.
"I broke my elbow, not my larynx,'' Clinton said in an interview on ABC News' Good Morning America today.
Clinton dismissed any speculation that she has chafed over the leading roles that others in the administration -- Vice President Joe Biden, National Security Adviser James Jones and special envoys Geoge Mitchell and Richard Holbrooke -- have taken in national security and foreign affairs.
"I couldn't be more satisfied with the amount of time I spend with the president,'' said the former first lady, who challenged President Barack Obama for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination. Clinton suffered a broken elbow in a fall at Foggy Bottom last month on her way to a meeting at the White House.
