There are some who say President Barack Obama is suffering from a certain over-exposure on television -- address a joint session of Congress, go on 60 Minutes.
But Adam Nagourney of the New York Times has the line on proof that the White House isn't worried about any such over-exposure -- but rather indeed wants total immersion.
"White House officials said that while nothing is certain - schedules are still be worked out and all that - they are looking to land Mr. Obama to back-to-back appearances on This Week with George Stephanopoulos on ABC, Meet the Press on NBC, and Face the Nation on CBS. No word on Fox or CNN.
"Should this happen,'' the Timesman writes at The Caucus blog, "Mr. Obama will be the first sitting president to blanket the Sunday morning programs, albeit potentially one limited to just the major broadcast networks.

Why is it that every Sunday my TV is filled up with MINORITY party Republicans like the disgraced Newt Gingrich and loser John McCain?
The voters spoke in November and they told the Republican party to go pound sand.

I'm guessing that you were saying the same thing when Shrub Jr and Darth Cheney were on our TV sets 24/7 telling lies about Iraq and WMD's, right?

Hmmm -- I bet it's the part about "being the first sitting president" to "fill in the blank" that appeals ot him, as he is all about himself.

Obama should just go ahead and get his own network. Call it ABN (the All Barack Network)... It would add to his already impressive network affliation with CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and MSNBC.

I do not remember anyone getting the amount of face time BHO is getting/taking. I thought this was a team effort. All we see if him and I am starting to get sick of HOPE and CHANGE.

II've had enough of the "big speeches", I just turn the channel. I don't care how often he's on TV.

The President on TV? Madness., utter madness!!!!!!! Any rational Presidentyhides in the White House and never appears in front of the camera's. Beth and Kathy are correct in thier deep and probing analysis of this totally apparent insanity of the President appearing on TV!

This is an OPEN democracy people not a closed door like Bush ran! You dont like it switch the station! Or better yet, keep yapping and blowing your horn it only makes it better for the rest of us! Presidents should never give speechs, use teleprompters or go on TV. I want my President to be dumber than a brick, just like I am. I want some guy in the White House who I'd like to have a beer with, like my buddy JimBob who drinks at the same bar I do. He's smart, he could be President....if he wanted too.
Help me! I need some more GOP kool-aide!

I have to admit, Obama's speech was not bad, when you compare it to Bush's stuttering and stammering.
I do find it odd that Bush's 1999 healthcare initiative has not been incorporated into the Obama plan.
Come on BO! We need to control costs, so lets get with the program. I don't want to pay for some old geezer to live on a vent!

I'll believe whatever my president's prompter tells me. When it tells me that socialized medicine won't add to the deficit despite the independent CBO's projections, I'll believe it. When it tells me that committing $800B in borrowed porkulous funds will arrest unemployment, I'll believe it. When it tells me that Cap'n Trade is the only way to combat global warming, I will believe it.
When I saw BO's face; I'm a believer.

What's wrong with Obama?
I want my President to start wars based on lies, commit war crimes, torture and give tax cuts to the richest 1%, big oil and big corporations. I also want him to do double the national debt in only eight years (a record). That's what real Presidentin' is all about!

Will someone please help me get this tin foil off my head!

No, Brigitte, dear, he's not insecure.
Anyone who sits down to write his autobiography at age 32 is not, ah, lacking in self confidence.
It's called getting the message out.
And since there is no one better equipped to explain it all to the public than the President, bring it on.
The most articulate thing the other side can say is "you lie".
You might say they are verbally challenged....

Hang in there Idiot. Your president is on his way to smashing all the records. No one can go from $1.3T to $9T faster than President Prompter.
I know - revive talks of Obscene Profits Tax. Go after Government Motors first. That should do the trick.

If President Obama is sitting down to do the backs and forths with the Sunday talking heads, he's not reading from a teleprompter - he actually has mastered the policies issues and questions. He's actually can answer unscripted questions.
How many times did President Bush sit down to do a Sunday "talking head" show? I'll bet Obama - in one day - will have done more than Bush did in his entire 8 years as President. What does that say about the difference in the ability of the two men and the agility of their minds?

I find it fascinating that a man who claims to value a team of rivals and a robust debate is too afraid to be interviewed on Fox News.
