Glenn Beck, the FOX News commentator, has warned viewers about all the "czars'' that the Obama administration is amassing, including the "Communist'' "green czar,'' Van Jones, adviser for green Jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
But Jones had some commentary of his own at a conference back in February, judging from a video clip that Real Clear Politics.com is playing. Jones, at the Second Annual Berkeley Energy and Resources Collaborative, was asked why it is that Republicans could control the agenda when they lacked 60 votes in the Senate, yet when Democrats have 58 votes in the Senate, "we seem unable to move things.''
"The answer to that is they're......(something we'd prefer not to print),'' replied Jones "That's a technical political science term.''
And Barack Obama is not one, said Jones, allowing that he can be one.

Well Van, I wouldn't say Republicans are @#$%@, but I do know this: Democrats most certainly are @#%&@heads.

The Democrats will go to any lenght to discredit champion of the downtrodden and disgusted, Glenn Beck. Has anyone seen the latest DNC trick? A computer animated Glenn Beck is lying in bed talking about how miserable and terrible the Health Care in America is. This of course is a complete contradiction to what Beck has been shouting from the rooftops since Obama became President and started talking reform. The Democrats and their computer tricks. They won't work. We know the real deal when we see him and that Beck int he DNC video is a computer hologram!!

Nice suit - but still a communist piece of trash.

Every president since Nixon has had "czars" yet only now are phonies like Glenn Beck whining about it. How come Beck had no complaints about Bush's 20 "czars?"

Beck has convinced the pitchfork and assault rifle Wingnut crowd that dark, evil forces are taking over our country and are poised to take their freedoms away.
I can laugh at clowns like Limbaugh, O'Reilly and Hannity because they know that what their saying is just crap to keep the toothless Repug base nut rubes in line, but Beck is truly delusional, he really believes the crap that he spews.
Crazy Glenn is just itching to have a mental illness named after him before he dies.

I'm willing to bet that most of the Repug teabagger dipsticks have no idea what a "czar" is and they couldn't spell it if their life depended on it.
These guys are just leaders of whatever category they've been put in charge of, period, end of story.
Of course whackjobs like Crazy Glenn Beck and PillHead Rush realize that "czar" is one of those funny sounding scary foreign words, so everytime Obama uses it it's easy for them to light a fire under the dumber than a brick teabaggers who make up what's left of the Repug base.

Jones has a right to his opinion. Its outrageous that the character assassins would try to discredit a man who uses their own tactic.
Its refreshing to get an honest assessment and its really what most Americans believe, too.

I'd say after politics, he has his pick of the litter with a lofty position at ACORN, SEIU, or even the Swamp.

Devin you have to stop watching the republican party news you don't know what is real and what is not. A Couple of years ago while working on another station Glen had surgery. Glen found out first hand how horrible our health care system is. Only as Glen can do he ran an expose for a few days ranting and raving about how we have the worst health care system in the world. Now that Glen is on the republican party news he rants and raves about our health care being the best in the world. Since you only watch the republican party news you probably don't know that our health care system is ranked 37th in the world. you really need to expand your mind read more, stay away from the republican party news after a wile you begin to look very uninformed.

GREAT NEWS EVERYONE!
Today eleven more advertiseres ditched Crazy Glenn Beck's show on Faux, bringing the total to 57.
"Eleven new companies whose ads were recently seen during Beck’s program—Binder & Binder, Capital One, The Dannon Company, Discover, HSBC, ICAN Benefit Group Insurance, Infiniti, Jelmar (manufacturer of CLR All-Purpose Cleaner), Jordan McKenna Debt Counseling Network, Mercedes-Benz and Simplex Healthcare (creator of the Diabetes Care Club) —have pledged to ColorOfChange.org to take steps to ensure that their ads don’t run on Beck’s show. Fifty-seven companies have now committed not to support Beck’s show since ColorOfChange.org launched its campaign four weeks ago after the Fox News Channel host called President Obama a "racist" who "has a deep-seated hatred for white people" during an appearance on Fox & Friends."

"rnc brucie": I am wondering if you are aware that "teabagger" is an obscene term for a homosexual activity. Andrew Sullivan was among the first to use it.
That leads to the question of whether you are ignorant of the term or if you think it is clever to sprinkle obscenities throughout your post.
In either case, it marks you as someone who is best ignored.

Rick,
"Teabagging" is not an exclusively homosexual act.

Rick, almost everyone knows that the term "teabagger" can have an obscene connotation and that's why it's such a rich source of amusement to me that Glenn Beck's followers chose "tea bags" as the symbol of their discontent.

Ouch, the truth hurts. The current group of Republicans in Congress are indeed A**holes.

Well ya gotta love a pay back. All those false internet e-mails put out by the right? Well it seems Glenn Beck is getting a taste of this very thing. Google up Beck is a rapist and see the latest twist.

Van Jones is a 9/11 "Truther."
Doubtless we'll see 20 Swamp articles on this nutty subject.

I've been asked to clarify my post about Glenn Beck. Now I don't really believe this to be true, but when you hear so many say this, you have to wonder. I have not heard him dispute this as of yet, and think simply addressing the issue would put this to rest. After a little more indepth look at this, I also noticed that if you took the first letter of each issue he has brought to light....it spells "I did it". Now I'm worried. Why won't he address this?

What the Hey! Still in locked step, Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, the right even had to get Gonzales, and Tom Ridge back in step!! The right wing nuts don't like anyone out of step. Remember the Republicans never do anything for this country, they only do things to this country!

Do these Czars love or hate America??? Are they communists for real or are they for Freedom that America stands for??
Posted by: albrunomd | September 4, 2009 7:30 PM
The question is, how does a self-avowed Communist pass the FBI and WH checks to get that close to the president of the United States? In case you doubt, Jones admitted in August, 1992, that he had been a communist. Source: "The New Face of Environmentalism."

Van Jones has said he didn't know what the 9-11 truthers stood for, and that he didn't get involved until 2004. He's a liar (like his boss).
This link proves he got involved in 2002.
http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/09/van-jones-linked-to-9-11-truther.html
Van Jones is on record as siding with the terrorists and blamed America the day after the attack on the towers!
Van Jones is an America-hating cop-hating white-hating racist eco-terrorist. It's no wonder Obama appointed him. They are peas in a pod!
Get him out!
