It's the British invasion all over again.
Susan Boyle, near winner of Britain's Got Talent, has landed in L.A. to a throng of fans, and she has brought the Rolling Stones with her -- Wild Horses, the first single release from her forthcoming album.
"Childhood living is easy to do,
the things you wanted I bought them for you.
Graceless lady you know who I am,
you know I can't let you slide through my hands.
"Wild horses couldn't drag me away,
Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away.''
On a Monday afternoon, it beats listening to the latest argument over the crowd count at the Tea Party in Washington or the latest on the Joe Wilson rebuke vote.

How wonderful the voice that pierces the heart and slowly bleeds memories of you. . .

Great voice, what an amazing destiny!
But as I listen to the song, it is truly sad to know that currently wild horses are disappearing from our land due to massive round ups.
What is happening to our beloved icon?

In this time of trouble, turmoil and hell the voice of Susan Boyle is like a gift from heaven telling us that all is not lost.

There may be mainstream singers who are technically better but there isn't another singer on the planet that makes me weep every time I hear her music like my heart was breaking. EVERY time...time after time after time. I can't wait to hear more.
