Meghan McCain, who cut her blogging teeth during the presidential campaign of father Sen. John McCain, stirred a flutter of eyebrows on Twitter last night with her posting of a saucy "twitpic'' self-portrait, it appears.
McCain pulled the photo, which still was available this morning.
"When I am alone in my apartment, I wear tank tops and sweat pants, I had no idea this makes me a 'slut', I can't even tell you how hurt I am," McCain had tweeted.
McCain, 24, later apologized for the posting about her "spontaneous night-in,'' holding a copy of Andy Warhol's autobiography(pictured above).
"I do want to apologize to anyone that was offended by my twitpic, I have clearly made a huge mistake and am sorry 2 those that are offended," McCain tweeted.
The twitpic had more than 67,000 viewings

Perhaps she should go work for Haliburton and not be protected under rape laws like so many other woman and of which her own father voted no against!! The shame of the Republican party continues and any woman who votes republican must have rocks as brains!

It appears that you've just had an-open-mouth-insert-foot moment. Your claim that that McCain insulted “sluts,” juxtaposed with your statement that “[n]o wonder the Republican party keeps shrinking,” makes it sound like "sluts" were migrating from the Republican Party. Are you trying to insinuate that former Republican “sluts” are migrating to the Democratic Party or turning into independents; or are you just being your normal, entertaining self?
