Curious. I'd always thought memoirs were written toward the end of one's life to set down what a person did good or bad over that lifetime. She is not the only middle-aged person to do so, I just don't know that anyone at her age has enough life experience to write about it. It would be much more interesting to me if she were 90 and had more of a life to compare and contrast.

I'm sure her people sat down with Oprah's people and hammered out what questions would be asked and how they would be asked. At least I would hope so after what she went through during last year's campaign. If not, she gets what she asked for and can't complain.

Imagine for a minute if Sarah P. was President during the 1963 missle crisis. The instant some Pentagon cowboy like Thomas Power or Curtis Lemay said let's bomb, bomb, Cuba, Sarah would have pulled out the pom-poms and said "go Curtis go", and those of us who survived the ensuing nuclear holocaust would be living in a Mad Max world.
This isn't a reality show, a beauty contest, or Dancing With the Stars. Sarah is an under-educated women of inferior intellect who couldn't even hack the job as governor of the country's least populated state. If she's the best the Grand Old Carpers can come up with, then Obama has no worries.

She's publicly endorsed Obama, contributed $15,000 to the Democratic National Committee, and maxed out her contributions to Obama.

I'll be curious to see what Sarah Palin has to say. I don't have a high opinion of her, but I don't hate her. I don't even know her.

How interesting that Sarah Palin would venture outside of "real America" to appear in Oprah's Harpo Studios in Chicago! Anything to sell a book. Perhaps Oprah should take the opportunity to introduce Palin to Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright and Tony Resko. Let's see how easy it is for Palin to be accused of "pal around" with a terrorist, a radical black preacher, and a real Chicago thug. I have never been a member on a city counsel, or the mayor of a city, not the governor of any large state, or worked with the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission like she has. I guess only dumb people do these things... Tell me have you accomplished more than her? People act like she was running to be the president last fall, instead of the run for vice pres... It's amazing how threatened people are of her. Not to mention I believe Mr. Obama did in fact have some ties with so-called radicals during his past life, didn't he until his run for president? The way our media can misinform and distort news, it's hard to believe everything you hear. When thinking of what newspapers, media do I get my information from, well there are many sources that I myself, rely on... I don't blame Mrs. Palin for not answering such a dumb & biased question!

I like Sarah. I don't think McCain really wanted to win the Presidency. I think he pulled her down rather than the other way around. I don't think Obama likes the job now that he has it. When you think about it, it's kind of his first real job. He didn't really work or accomplish much when he was Senator, he was busy running for President. And now that he is president, he hasn't accomplished much, either. He is really kind of a disappointment.
