A lot of FOX News' viewers may be reading Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue,'' but President Barack Obama, who sat for a long-sought (by FOX) interview with Major Garrett, said he probably won't be. Photo courtesy of FOX News Channel.

As people line up around the block in Grand Rapids for the debut of Sarah Palin's national book tour, the popular author will probably have to count one reader out:
President Barack Obama.
"Obviously, Sarah Palin has attracted a lot of attention,'' Obama said of the Republican former governor of Alaska and 2008 GOP nominee for vice president viewed by some as a strong candidate for president in 2012 -- though not among 70 percent of Americans surveyed, according to a couple of recent news polls.
"She is going to do very well with this book,'' the Democratic president said in an interview with CNN's Ed Henry conducted in China and aired today. "She obviously has a big constituency in the Republican Party, there are a lot of people excited about her.''
Suggesting that he, himself, has not even given any thought to 2012 yet, the president said, "I do think it says a lot about our political process that 10 months after (the last election) we're already talking about it.'' (The timing of network interviews this week didn't afford Obama an opportunity to personally comment, however, on Palin's suggestion that he has everything "backassward'' on the economy.)
But, citing a load of policy briefing books that he has been reading lately, the presdent said he "probably won't'' be reading Palin's memoir, Going Rogue.
"I probably will not'' read the book, the president said in an interview with FOX News that the leading cable news network has been seeking for some time.
In the interviews with American broadcasters covering his trip through Asia, FOX's Major Garrett asked Obama about Palin's book, in a talk that FOX News Channel will air on Special Report with Brett Baier this evening.
"But I wish her well, you know,'' Obama said of Palin. "It looks like she's going to do very well without my readership."

Leave it to the right to determine who or what is "American enough". Thankfully God has given them them the insight to sit in judgement of this. Bravo Americans?

Obama is a Class Act. Wish I could say that about Ms. Palin.

Books like "Basic Economics" and Beck's
Common Sense or Arguing with Idiots would be better reads for him..

I bet Sarah Palin hasn't even read the book.
I would love to see a reporter ask her about specific references in the book and see if she knows them.

Actually....it already has happened. In an interview with (baba wawa) Palin tells her that the decission to run for vp was her's alone. She said she did not let the family help with that decission. However, in and interview with Sean Vannity a year ago, she claimed to have let the children vote on it.

Everyone knows Palin didn't write her book.
It was GHOSTWRITTEN by a woman hired by Rupert Murdock, her name is Lynn Vincent a right-wing Christian fundamentalist.
Rupert Murdock's Faux News/GOP TV is going to give Palin lots of airtime with her book published by HarperCollins, a Rupert Murdock owned company.
Of course Faux News/ GOP TV will never mention conflict of interest.
It's like the Washington Times a Moonie newspaper... as long as it's Reich-wing, GOP propaganda the right just eats it up.
Sarah is getting a lot of airtime, so why don't Sarah Palin's handlers allow her to appear on "Meet the Press" or "Face the Nation"?
Because she'll babble like a clueless high school beauty queen off script?
Give me a break Sarah "I Quit" Palin can't even? handle half an hour of tough questions... that's why she's going on Rupert Murdocks' Fox News/ GOP TV.

This president really do not act presidential at all. He's the sitting president and to be such a snob against the former governor (as reflected from his answers) just seemed so uncouth. Let the mean and most foul-mouthed followers of this president do the low-class commenting -- but not a "U.S. President!" Show some respect to the White House. Whew! Unbelievable!
