"Can I call you Joe?'' Sarah Palin asked Joe Biden during their vice presidential candidates' debate last year.

Biden was calling her "Sarah" this week on the campaign trail in upstate New York, where the Republican former governor of Alaska and 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate has interjected herself into a congressional race on behalf of the Conservative Party's candidate.

"The fact of the matter is that Sarah Palin thinks the answer to energy was 'drill, baby, drill,'" Vice President Biden said Monday at a fundraiser for Conservative Doug Hoffman's Democratic opponent, Bill Owens in Watertown, N.Y.

"No,'' Biden chimed, "it's a lot more complicated, Sarah, than drill, baby, drill."

"Say it ain't so, Joe,'' Palin had exclaimed in their faceoff during the 2008 campaign 11 months ago.

Palin, who has been operating from a Facebook page since resigning from the governor's office in July and awaiting the publication of her memoirs, Going Rogue, on Nov. 17, retorted this week with a "Notes'' note for Biden:

"There's one way to tell Vice President Biden that we're tired of folks in Washington distorting our message and hampering our nation's progress: Hoffman, baby, Hoffman!"

This is what else Palin had to say about Biden:

"As the vice president knows, I have always advocated an all-of-the-above approach to American energy independence. Among other things, my alternative energy goal for Alaska sits at 50 percent because Alaska reached more than 20 percent during my term in office. The Obama-Biden administration, on the other hand, recently announced a renewable goal of only 25 percent. However, domestic drilling should remain a top priority in order to meet America's consumption and security needs.

"The vice president's extreme opposition to domestic energy development goes all the way back to 1973 when he opposed the Alaska pipeline bill. As Ann Coulter pointed out, "Biden cast one of only five votes against the pipeline that has produced more than 15 billion barrels of oil, supplied nearly 20 percent of this nation's oil, created tens of thousands of jobs, added hundreds of billions of dollars to the U.S. economy and reduced money transfers to the nation's enemies by about the same amount."

"This nonsensical opposition to American domestic energy development continues to this day. Apparently the Obama-Biden administration only approves of offshore drilling in Brazil, where it will provide security and jobs for Brazilians. This election is about American security and American jobs.

"There's one way to tell Vice President Biden that we're tired of folks in Washington distorting our message and hampering our nation's progress: Hoffman, Baby, Hoffman! ''

Hey Joe, just because you can't understand something, doesn't mean that it's complicated.

Palin, Baby, PALIN!!!

Listen up Joe! Sarah Palin is spot on, the fact that America has so many natural resources that are not being taken advantage of, borders on the criminal and malfeasance. Please stop with this global warming theme, its totally bogus. The planet has been around for millions of years, and it runs its cycles. Even you narrow minded people in the White House could not screw up the planet in so short a time, but your really trying hard.

Three cheers for Palin, has it all over Joe.

This is not about Joe Biden or Sarah Palin. The Biden's and the Obama's of the world prey on people. More specifically they prey on peoples weaknesses. They don't preach personal responsibility or individual growth and they surely do not promote freedom. Its about submission, its about in their own twisted way how they want to control the masses. And its not about one party. Both parties are corrupt and both parties were responsible for the collapse of the American economy. This is not about politics, its about lost principals and values that where traded instead for greed and corruption. Its not about religion, abortion or being gay. Its about preserving freedom no matter what you believe in. This is about keeping America free and if that means Sarah Palin gets involved in that process to keep it free than more power to her.

Palin is dumb as a rock. She'd probably try to drill a rock-- if she could figure out which end is up.

That anyone with an IQ above two digits supports her, shows how the right wing wack jobs--and fox "news" have nothing but sheep as followers.

Death panel........end of sentence!

2 questions.......I thought you said this wasn't about Palin. The other would be, though you invoke the all inspiring "freedom" word, please list the freedoms you have lost.

complicated?? really???
then explain it to me Joe...i'll just wait right here

If only Sarah could have cared about the people who elected her as much as the people in New York.

How long must we hear about Palin? Her little quips are not worth publishing on the Swamp or anywhere else..

Dumb as a rock-
look at your accomplishments and then look at hers.

;
She was born attractive and then later hoodwinked rubes into voting for her? If she was a dude she would not even be in the top 25 list of who's who in the GOP.

Inkster,
One of her accomplishments was to abruptly and unexpectedly quit as governor of Alaska. She offered no viable explanation to the people who elected her as well as the citizens of the state of Alaska who she swore to serve, why she did so. We all do know there is alot in her closet. Beside being ignorant, hypocritical, and irresponsible, maybe the job just got too demanding for her to handle. Let us know what sort of read her book is.

Reading between the lines, those two have some great chemistry, but throwing Ann Cutlet into the mix might be a bit too crowded.

bill, when an abusive out of control government pries into everything in your life, tells you what kind of light bulb you can use, what kind of car you can drive, refuses to provide services that society needs to advance such as, energy, transportation, water and economic opportunity then you have lost most of your freedom through economics and governmental malpractice.
I know liberals don't understand economics, but it is what has always and alway will make the world go round $$$$. Even for that glorious god Obama. He got himself elected because he took the money, remember? He promised to take public money, and then when he realized that he would be missing out on hundreds of millions of campaign dollars he had a change of heart. Money makes the Obama go round too.

And then there is the debt burden on this generation and the future generations. We have indebted ourselves to countries like China. It's just like the old days where the peasants (us) where in debt up to their eyeballs to the feudal ruler (China). You can thank your precious Big government for that.

The astounding thing in this silly " contest " is Vice-President Joseph Biden has the experience and the knowledge to make ex-Governor Palin, with respectful overtones, look like an unknowing, uncaring, novice politician, as she so amply proves, time and again. That some one with the lack of, even the basic experiences to govern, who walked away from an elected position, for reasons that still haven't been divulged, is astounding !! Yet, there are citizens that are championing her inexperience, her duplicity, her selfish motivations as qualities that would make her a good candidate for some high office. When I think in those terms, only one phenomenon comes to my mind, Bush&Cheney and that is almost as scary as the real deal !! " Crash " McCain presented then-Governor Palin as his running-mate in last year's presidential election. It was a gimmick, it was a " gotcha " moment, for his campaign and it was a silly and stupid mistake. "Crash" never looked so stupid and he is still trying to recover his loss of credibility, due his gimmicky choice !!
Now we are being threatened with Ms Palin, again. The right wing conservatives are again trying to dazzle the nation with their unorthodoxy, in their selection of candidates to represent their silly, mean-spirited, and selfish agenda. They are trying to hide their archaic agenda, I might add, with the selection of another Bush&Cheney, of course, different look. They are trying their mightiest to re-invent the wheel, with their attempt to return to those " glorious " days of limited opportunity for all the people, the few enjoying the labor of the many, who, unfortunately, will be, and in some cases, are, being paid slave wages. Those are the glory days for the right-wing conservatives and their stupid agenda. Their motto could very well be: Workers, know your place and do not attempt to improve your lot. That is unAmerican !! That is communist, that is socialist, that is Hitlerism, that is Stalinism, that is classism and that is their vitriolic defense of their agenda. An agenda that grew out of days past, when the few tried to keep the many, down, to keep the many from enjoying the fruits of their own labor. Those days are gone, and "...all the king horse's and all the king's men couldn't put Humpty together again." All of you, right-wing conservatives, better get used to that idea, those unAmerican days will never be back !! Welcome to a new and improved America !!

Big Government had nothing to do with the trillions of dollars in debt, this nation had build up in the last 8 years !! If you think that, I have a privatized prison I want to sell you. The Weasels of Wall Street and the Bandits in the Boardrooms are just a few of the culprits, Big Business has, rifling our pockets !! From the Pharmaceuticals, to the Healthcare Corporations, to the slick Oil Corporations, those are the thieves that have stolen our future. You are right in one small respect, it was during the Bush&Cheney disaster, that the lines between the two entities blurred, particularly during the War and Occupation of Iraq and the Wall Street Scam. For those two moments, we will be paying a debt for some years, but it beats another Great Depression, that we were facing, had not President Obama stimulated the economy. Like it or not, as long as Big Business wields a big stick, I want our government to wield a bigger stick.
On a related topic, I fervently hope Attorney General Holder will begin the investigation and prosecution of the frauds of Wall Street, and else where. The misery their greed has visited upon this nation, must not go unpunished !!! Also, those anti-trust exemptions for the Health Care Insurance Corps must end, now. Their greediness is killing us !! Let them compete in the marketplace like all the other legitimate Corps !! Stop them from sucking the life out of their clients/patients, now !! Real Healthcare Reform, now !!
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, BRING THEM HOME, ALIVE AND WHOLE. NOW.
