But Joe Biden had been in Congress for over 30 years. Bill Clinton had been Governor of Arkansas for a numbe rof years and was considered a new face of the Democratic Party. And Obama had some experience as a State Senator and less than four years as a U.S. Senator. On the Republican side Bush the Younger had been Governor for 6 years. His father Bush the Elder had been VP for 8 years, a Texas Congressmen and held some high level Federal Offices including Head of the CIA. And Ronald Reagan had been Governor of California for 8 years. Romney, Huckabee and Pawenty are probably still unknown to a majority of the American public and that probably explains their poll numbers.

So what are the best qualifications one must have to be President? I believe it is the candidate that a majority of the American Public likes and trusts the most that usually get elected. In 2008 the American Voters liked and
preferred Barack Obama over John McCain just as in 2000 and 2004 they liked George W Bush over Al Gore and John Kerry.

So your condition of being the president is the candidate should have "executive experience"? In that case how about someone like Bernie Madoff or any one of the CEO's in charge of the banks that went belly-up? Guitar Hours ~ Django kind of hours. Disgusted@1:51 a.m., liberals, like John E., are always on to some different bone of contention. Liberals rant and rave just like anyone else, off subject to the Swamp article at hand. Your comrade has some kind of mental derangement issue with Texas, which is fine, but like everything else, we see / don’t see what apparently we choose to see / not see.

One thing about it though, when Texas goes belly up, EVERYONE HERE needs to know that it is ALL OVER. May the Chinese, or whomever your new owners are, be kind and merciful.

I am aware that the insurance
force has " instructed" their employees to speak out and blog against healthcare reform. I personally know of one employed through United who does this and whenever I pose a question, he either clams up or changes the topic onto something related to Obama. I suspect that you are one of these employees who got their orders and do you want to know why I suspect this ?
Your blogs are empty vessels wrapped in emotionally charged rhetoric. I understand you have to eat, though but please answer me this:

what do you think should be done about the multitudes of uninsured and without healthcare access Americans?
Should America adopt a
" survival of the fittest " policy and ignore the suffering of a lot of people, in favor of corporate earnings?
