The "Going Rogue'' book tour starts in Grand Rapids.
The day after Sarah Palin's memoirs are published, which is the day after Palin appears on The Oprah Winfrey Show to promote the book.
Which means Monday on Oprah, Tuesday on bookshelves, Wednesday in Grand Rapids.
The Republican former governor of Alaska and mayor of Wasilla - which was sort of like being a community organizer "except with a lot more responsibilities,'' as she explained to her party upon nomination for vice president - also is returning to Twitter following a hiatus after her resignation last summer.
At Twitter's SarahPalinUSA, followers are lining up for the first Tweet, though at this posting the host hadn't Tweeted yet.
The big-box book tour (Barnes and Nobles, Borders, Sam's Clubs and the like) will follow some familiar paths for Republicans if not traditional book-tour channels: Starting in Grand Rapids on Nov. 18, moving to Fort Wayne, Ind., the next day and on to Noblesville. If it's Nov. 20, it must be Cincinnati and Columbus. Palin will pass through Pennsylvania and upstate New York and Roanoke, Va.
"I've decided to stop in cities that are not usually included in a typical book tour,'' Palin says in her Facebook Notes, where her following is approaching one million. "For instance, I'm looking forward to meeting our honorable men and women in uniform and their families at a Fort Bragg book signing.''
The stop at Fort Bragg, N.C., comes Nov. 23.
Palin plans a swing through Republican territory in Florida: At a Books-A-Million n Orange Park on the 24th, at a Barnes and Noble in The Villages, outside of Orlando, a community developed by a major Republican Party financier and familiar stop on the Bush family campaign tours and then one in a shopping center near downtown Orlando.
After Thanksgiving, she says, she is heading West.

Last week there was a full page ad in the Houston Chronicle offering her book for $4.97. That's a great way to jack up the sales numbers - sell it at the same price that other trashy novels sell for.

There is a phone booth at State and Madison, that should be sufficient room for the person, or persons, with enquiring minds, who want to know !! Is it true she gave a autographed copy to her mentor, " Crash " McCain !!? You betcha !!

And she will make lots and LOTS of money, and the Liberals will get more and MORE worked up. I hope she continues to give the Lefty's fits!

Why not? Obama has made millions off his autobiographies hasn't he?
I do wonder though if this writer will toss her family under the Palinbus in order to
sell a few more copies?
Once they've recieved a "ray of light" on the national stages, every politician goes looking for a book deal and speaking engagements.
Nothing new and certainly nothing to be pissing your pants about Donny boy!
BRING TRANSPARENCY TO THE WHITE HOUSE AND CONGRESS NOW! WHOLE AND TRUTHFULL!
After that bring those troop's home from Afghanistan and Iraq! oop's not gonna happen with Obama! It's HIS war now and he says, "It's worth the fight"! Pretty dumb to think otherwise, especially when you voted for him! did you miss that campaign speech Don?

Dave - you mean laughing fits!!!
The image that Repubs think that Dems are afraid of her is absolutely hilarious. The more Repubs paste her to the face of their party the happier we become. She will keep them from winnig elections,,,,,
Please Mark - keep the Palin posts comin!!!!!

Liberals put more credence in what playgirl Levi has to say.
I hope her tour takes her to all 57 states.

Go ahead GOP, put Palin on the ballot in 2012.
Dave, take the afternoon off and go get yourself a copy of Palin's book. It will cost you $24.95 plus tax. I'm sure it's worth every penny. And what did you about Palin before August 2008 (that would be when Grandpa McCain selected her as his running mate). Enlighten us.

What the Hey! Maybe if she goes far enough west she will run into Russia. By the way Sarah stop plagiarizing Senator Ted Kennedy's lines, " and the cause continues"! Who helped write or finance the book? MURDOCK! Same guy that helped Newt! That man should be banned from owning any media outlet or transportation company in this country! whiteagle38

Obama writes a book, "the audacity of hope"
Palin writes a book, "the media was mean to me"

Is there nothing substantive that Liberals can say about Palin, one way or the other? You people are scared silly because she is a normal American, not some elitist politician looking down their noses at the rest of us. Look at the goons ramming through legislation that most don't want. I hope that whatever damage Obama and his ilk do, can be reversed as soon as he's booted out of office. He has no respect for the constitution otherwise if he really thought he was right he would ask for Constituional changes. He knows he'll never get that, so he just ignores the prime law of the land and the minions in Congress( all of them) just let it happen.
