George W. Bush wasn't an e-mailer.
But plenty of others in the Bush White House were.
Two nonprofit groups that have been at odds with the White House over access to emails say they have reached an agreement with the White House for the restoration of 22 million emails from the Bush administration that had been mislabeled and effectively "lost.''
The two private organizations -- the National Security Archive at George Washington University and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington -- say they are settling lawsuits that they filed against the Executive Office of the President in 2007.
"We now know that many poor choices were made during the Bush Administration and there was little concern about the availability of e-mail records despite the fact that they were contending with regular subpoenas for records and had a legal obligation to preserve their records for the nation's long term historical memory," says Meredith Fuchs, the Archive's general counsel.

They purged the series of tubes and found them next to the evidence of WMD's.

Mark, we're delighted at your sudden interest in emails.
Perhaps you would care to mention the story about emails (not the minor one above) that has made headlines throughout the world the past week? This story is sometimes known as "Climategate". And a renowned oceanographer that we know (one that doesn't get invited for sushi at the White House) calls it a scandal.

I thought during the Plame investigation Libby and Cheney were asked by the prosecutor if they used e-mail much. Thought they denied using it very much. How many of the 22 M e-mails are from either of the men or the OVP? Will Obama want to cover this up, too, and say lets move on, I don't care if any politicians broke laws. Laws and jail time aren't for politicians--they're only for the average citizen.
