Obama: 'Wouldn't be here' for skeptics

Eight years of Republican leadership has left America choking on a $12 trillion national debt, a $787 billion taxpayer bailout, 10.2% unemployment and two wars whose purposes and astronomical costs are still unclear, with no end in sight. Middle America wants jobs, fiscal responsibility, affordable healthcare and quality public education for its children, none of which were delivered under a Republican administration and Republican Congress. Republicans had eight years to produce for America and they failed, breaking the spirit of Middle America along the way.

You mean the economy isn't booming again yet because - in ten months Obama still hasn't totally reversed the eight years worth of Republicans letting Wall Street run like a casino, starting an unnecessary war and tax cuts for billionaires - thus causing our economy to tank in the first place? I'm Shocked!......not.

No liberal policies create jobs or aid business growth. They are to the detriment of jobs and economic growth (except for government jobs).

All you do is post the same nonsense on here day after day, under all your various pen names, little Liberal JohnEE. Get a job or find a hobby.

Earlier this year Obama assured us his "stimulus" would cut unemployment to 8% by now. It's at 10.2%--even higher than he predicted would be the case WITHOUT the "stimulus." In other words, Obama's policies have made things, by his own account, WORSE.

This PR stunt (excuse me, Forum) will create exactly one job, for one day--for the guy hired to serve the striped bass and mango sorbet at lunch.

You see on Sept. 11, 2001, airplanes flew into buildings, killing thousands of Americans. The people responsible for those atrocious acts are known as Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda has a safe haven in a country known as Afghanistan, which was run by a group called The Taliban, also a truly heinous people. The Taliban even did things like torture, rape and just basically treat women and children like they were nothing. If they treated Loony Lefters that way, I'd understand it. But, no, they picked on women and children. Perhaps Mavis Leno can discuss that issue some more.
Al Qaeda also bombed two U.S. embassies, bombed a U.S. destroyer, bombed the World Trade Center once before and commited other acts in countries like Indonesia, Philippines, Spain, England and elsewhere.
So, after 9/11 we went into Afghanistan and defeated the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda, try as they might, have been largely ineffective since then, except for a few attacks in countries like Spain and England, of which were much smaller and less effective than their 9/11 plot. They've also been foiled countless times by the smart, capable and wonderful Bush administration.
We went into Iraq because Saddam Hussein was a bad man, evidence of WMDs (of which few were found, but everyone from the UN to Russia to France to the Democrats thought Iraq had them), and basically killing hundreds of thousands, if not more than 1 million, of his own people. He also broke 17 UN resolutions as well as the parameters set forth in Iraq's surrender in 1991.

Now, as far as the economy is concerned, George Bush inherited a sick economy and left office with a sick economy. But for 3/4 of his presidency, the U.S. enjoyed a strong economy, with unemployment as low as 4.5 percent (basically considered full employment), low inflation and a stock market that surpassed 14,000 in the Dow.
The economy went sour largely becuase the hot housing market went boom and high energy costs, of which that is largely the fault of the Democrats who continually prevent the U.S. from getting at its many resources such as oil, coal, natural gas and the building of nuclear power plants.
That $12 trillion national debt occurred over 200+ years.
But since Obimbo took office, unemployment has skyrocketed, bailouts have skyrocketed, government spending has skyrocketed and in just 8 years Obimbo and the Demoncraps in Congress will more than double that $12 trillion deficit that took 200+ years to get.
Loony lefters, far left Demoncraps, truly the sorriest bunch of buttwipes in the history of mankind.

Wow! in just three years, we'll be able to blame Bush for all the Obama failures, all the Obama lies, all the Obama rhetoric, all the disingenuous smiles and back stabbing the USA gets from the rest of the planet.

You had control of every single branch of Government – and a good amount on the state level as well. And you were able to do exactly what you wanted. And if the country finally realized that the crap that you peddled was worthless, useless, a distraction and sent this country to the brink of disaster, then that isn’t Pelosi’s fault or Frank’s fault or Clinton’s fault (either of them) or even Jimmy Carter’s fault.

You had your chance, and blew it. Big time. And because of it, you got smacked down. Hard. End of story.

So stop whining. Stop lying. Stop with the strawmen and the ad hominem attacks. That era is tired, and frankly is inching closer and closer to being over. Obama knows it. First of all, LOONS, under Bush, EVERYONE received tax cuts. In fact, the lowest wage earners DO NOT pay a federal income tax because of the Bush tax cuts.
Bush tax cuts LOWERED the tax percentage for ALL Americans.
Bush tax cuts included doing away with the marriage penalty tax.
Bush tax cuts also included INCREASING the child tax deductions.

As far as businesses and the economy. Business and consumers drive the economy, NOT the government. But for whatever failings there may be in the private sector, it sure beats the crap out of the way governments run. Cook County, loons? Chicago? Illinois? Massachusetts? New York? California?
These states are nearing bankruptcy:
California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey. ALL of them have been run by liberals. ALL of them.

The unemployment rate is now 10% and the real unemployment rate is at 17.2%. But, this is expected to be short lived because of holiday jobs. I hope they are wrong but, history shows that they most likely are not.

Buzz(word) Lightyear, I see you are still trying to bury the disaster Bush brought America. I guess I too would wish to throw him under the bus as quick as possible. As those on the right want to continue blaming CRA and Clinton from over 10 years ago for the housing crisis, it's laughable that they can't seem to remember the last president. If 8 years of a mismanaged war in Afghanistan hasn't made our objective much harder, I guess you are right. Hell son, Americans are tired of it, I can only imagine how Afghans feel, not that I think you care.
