Some stories simply have to stand on their own.
Like the story of Peter Orszag, the director of the president's Office of Management and Budget. Or is it the story of his ex-girlfriend, the heir to a shipping fortune who gave birth to their child in November?
Orszag is engaged to be married to another woman.
"Love child,'' the story-breaking New York Post calls the progeny of Orszag and Claire Milonas, who reportedly gave birth to Tatiana Zoe in New York on Nov. 17.
That was weeks before Orszag got engaged to Bianna Golodryga, an ABC News financial correspondent. The couple, who announced their engagement on Dec. 28, are pictured here. He's a Princeton and London School of Economics trained economist with a PhD. She's on Good Morning America.
He co-authored a book a few years ago, Protecting the Homeland. He also delivered an academic paper last year entitled: "It's About Timing.''
Orszag, 41, former director of the Congressional Budget Office, and Milonas, 39, daughter of New York-based shipping magnate Spiros Milonas, have issued a joint statement, saying, "We were in a committed relationship until the spring of 2009. In November, Claire gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Although we are no longer together, we are both thrilled she is happy and healthy, and we would hope that everyone will respect her privacy."
Sure thing.

Mark,
Will the main-stream-media pay as much attention to the circumstances of Peter Orszag's child as they did to Sarah Palin's grandchild?
After all Peter Orszag is responsible for figuring out how to address the sky-rocketing deficit and Sarah Palin doesn't have a job!

Don't hold your breath on that Pat H.....
It took the sleazy National Enquirer to break the story about John Edward's love child and the MSM still didn't report on it until Edwards got caught red-handed visiting his girlfriend at the Hilton...besides democrat politicians live by lower standards and have an immoral value system, just like president B.J. Clinton.

Obviously not about birth control methods.

I saw this on ABC's "Good Morning America" this morning and wondered why this is even a story. But now that it comes out that Orszag is engaged to ABC's Goladryga it looks to me like ABC is overreacting by trying to get out in front of this non-issue issue. Whatever...I'm sure that there is more important news to report.

An ABC news reporter is marrying an Obama official....
That is the MSM/Obama administration relationship in a nutshell.

This kind of stuff is for TMZ and Perez Hilton. We have no business in this which, as stated by them both, is an amicable, mutual decision between two ex-lovers.
This is the swamp, but get out of the gutter.

We need a Department of Morality to weed out these types. It would create many jobs for little old ladies and grouchy old men and lots of lawyers to handle all the law suits.
