With his "White House to Main Street Tour'' this week -- at a time when the debate over Wall Street reform is heating up in Washington -- President Barack Obama will hold an open house for all-comers Wednesday at the civic center in Quincy, Ill.

Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis on Tuesday, sttarting at 11:30 AM CDT, according to the White House. Tickets will be disbursed at the York Street etrance to the Oakley Lindsay Civic Center. On Wednesday, doors for the president's appearance, tor those holding tickets will open at 1 pm -- the president's address there is scheduled to start after 4 pm..

It's part of a tour of Iowa, Illinois and Missouri by a president attempting to focus on street-level concerns while debates unfold in Washington over financial regulation, job creation, immigration reform and energy conservation in a roiling midterm election year.

In the early afternoon on Wednesday, Obama plans a tour of Poet Biorefining in Macon, Mo., where he will speak with workers "about what they are experiencing during these tough economic times and share ideas for rebuilding our economy in the long term,'' accoding to the White House. He also plans to tour a local farm and visit with the family who operates it.
