Are we supposed to be surprised by anything these ignorant, illiterate morons like Sarah Palin and this clown Teabagger Republican from Idaho say or do?

We already knew that these Teabagger goons were ignorant bumbling fools. The hilarious part about this is that the Republican Party continues to push them out into the fore front.

Here's a little news story that the mainstream media chose not to report. Members of SEIU demonstrated outside of the home of the Bank of America CEO. Nobody in the mainstream media points out that this union has to repay a $90 million loan from Bank of America that was used in large part to finance Obama's presidential campaign. Nor was it reported that DC police escorted the buses carrying the union members to Maryland. Here is something else. Private pay since Obama talk office has fallen but, government pay and handouts have soared. It would seem Obama's socialist program is working and the redistribution has begun.

Let's see they have their own national flag and national anthem. They are not a state and have no vote in Congress. They are a commonwealth but not in the same fashion that Kentucky is. The majority of Puerto Ricans do not want to be part of America but still want all the benefits of America. So depending on who you talk to in Puerto Rico they are part of America and they are not. Each time they are asked to vote on becoming a true state they have voted no. I say cut them loose and see what happens. There will be a few billion dollars a year in savings of taxpayer dollars.

Well, it doesn't really matter to me if Ward plagiarized his speech. I'd forgive him for that -- live and let live, I always say. I also don't care that he called Puerto Rico a "country" rather than a territory because that probably was truly a misspeak (misspeak? misspeech?) done in the excitement of the moment. And I'm sure he didn't intend any of the dismissive callousness, arrogance and possible bigotry (referring to the status of Puerto Rico) so strongly indicated in "I really don't care what it is. It doesn't matter." Anybody can get flustered and say things that people will misconstrue.

Unfortunately, Republican standards, based on what they said about Democrats who apparently did these things previously, dictate that anyone who plagiarizes or isn't able to speak of U.S. geography (not to mention deciding it "doesn't matter") is automatically too dishonest, stupid and contemptible to be considered for office. I'm not sure, but I THINK it also means he should be flayed alive and thrown to wild animals to devour (I could be wrong on that -- I'm only gleaning from what the Republicans SEEM TO HAVE WANTED to have happen in the past). The judgment is simply out of my hands and I acquiesce to the Republicans themselves as higher authority on all things moral and good on this matter, as they'd be sure to claim anyway.

Perhaps when he produces the ORIGINAL (no copies allowed!) documents proving he's 25 years old and that he's been a citizen for 7 years, somebody will find he's unqualified on that count and we'll all be saved further argument.

Two interesting things out of this article. First it appears that Vaughn Ward seems to have cribbed and plagiarized from speeches of President Obama. Maybe he is a Democratic operative because he plagiarized in the fashion of the Late Senator Ted Kennedy and Vice President Joe Biden. The second interesting thing in this story is that maybe the Tea Party movement is split. One faction of the Tea Party is backing a candidate in the Democratic Primary. Very Interesting!

Has he been able to travel to all 57 states?

HHH, The hate, name calling and bigotry that you always throw at anyone that does not hold you political beliefs seems to be coming from people like you on the Far Left Wing of the Democratic Party. I know a lot of real Democrats and real Liberals and I know they do not hold your bigoted beliefs. Many of my Liberal friends are very intelligent people and they do not resort to bigoted name calling in discussions.
