Mark Matthews, part our Washington bureau, updates on the story he wrote in today's Orlando Sentinel on a video Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) sent his constituents -- at their expense -- that was essentially a highlights film of his time in Congress so far.
Today one of his potential Republican opponents, state Rep. Kurt Kelly, called for an investigation of his billing taxpayers $73,000 for the mailer. He also wants Grayson to reimburse the Treasury from campaign funds.
"If Alan Grayson wants to record a liberal mix tape so he can get his own show on MSNBC after I beat him this fall, he's certainly entitled to do so, but not with our taxpayer dollars," said Kelly in a statement.
You can catch up on the story here.

This is soooo hilarious! The wingnut desperation to beat Grayson is making them so crazy that they're actually trying to make a big deal about a video!
The Repugs hate Grayson with a passion because he has a habit of smacking them down with the weapon that they hate more than anything - the truth.

I have absolutely no idea what this man has to be proud of. He is a complete disgrace, and is an embarrassment to the House of Representatives and America in general. And last but not least he doesn't even live in his district that he represents. That would fall under the term "Carpetbagger"

I confronted Grayson about a month ago about his "STFU" comment to an American citizen when challenged about healthcare.
Set Grayson up "hook, line and sinker." He got all po'ed and stalked off.
Grayson is a moron. I know people where he used to live before he moved into Tiger Woods' area. They can't stand his guts as he is an arrogant liar that they couldn't trust.
Grayson is going down on November 2.

Awesome. the swamp mention Florida and all the mouth breathing racists come out. According to Republican dogma, Florida should be the most wealthy state due to no income tax. No taxes = great economy. What? Florida is a back water cess dump? Keep trying chumps.

Grayson goes to work on the national fascist Republicans with a blowtorch on a daily basis completely discrediting their ideology and individual candidates, and the best they can do in return is complain about a DVD mailer. Pathetic.
Then again this is the same pathetic bunch who cant even find a candidate who last more than 2 weeks against Big Alan.
