Barry called Shirley Sherrod? I hope he called her what she is, A BIG FAT RACIST!!!!

Good move Mr President. Hopefully this will put this unfortunate episode to rest. Shirley Sherrod did not deserve this. And may be the Press and the White House will learn a valuable lesson to check all the facts out before they run a story or shoot their mouths off.

This woman was singled out by the right wing lunatic fringe because she was black, as was the NAACP and the President. There is simply no other way to see it, they wanted to attack a black person in the Obama administration as racist.

Look at the FACTS. Breitbart posted the out-of-context video clips on Monday, July 19, 2010. Sherrod received at least three telephone calls DURING THE DAY from officials in the USDA, pressuring her to resign. She was basically forced to resign on her way home from work. That was before 5:00 p.m. EST. The first Fox News program to cover the matter - in which they basically played the video that Breitbart posted on his web site - did not air until two or three hours after the USDA and the White House had already forced Sherrod to resign.

If Fox News didn’t cover the matter until three hours after she finally succumbed to the Obama administration’s pressure for her to resign, how could she have been the victim of Fox News’ racism? How could a report that occurred three hours later have contributed to the pressure to resign?

The timeline of this event was the tape was posted Breitbart and then she was fired. After she was fired, Fox News picked-up the story.

It's ironic that the MSM is covering the story now when it sheds a bad light on Breitbart and not on the Obama Regime.

To Don Fitzgerald: Yes, "playing with the truth can be dangerous" as you suggested in your post. But I have a question for you. How are your beloved Democrats going to explain a 13 Billion Dollar deficit to the people of Illinois? Are we all facing major tax increases under the disguise of any tax increase in Illinois being just temporary? Our elected leaders tried that one before the last time they raised the State Income Tax. And how is President Obama going to pay for his recently passed Health Care Program? Where is all the money going to come for that huge new government program? Don, I hate to break this to you but it is not coming from Santa Claus unless your really believe Uncle Sam is Santa Claus. And guess who support Uncle Sam, the American Taxpayer. Yes Don, "playing with the truth can be dangerous" for any politician whether they be Democrat or Republican.
