My advice to both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party is that the majority of the American People have seen your movies before and we think they both stink. So what was the economy like before the Dems took over Congress in 2006 Biden? A hell of a lot better than it is today. Funny how Biden doesn't mention Bush's attempts to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac before the collapse. There is plenty of video of the Dems (Barney Frank especially) saying there would be now sub-prime loan collapse and that the housing market was sound. It was this collapse that left the economy in the current state it is in.

How quickly the Democrats forget that they..not Mr. Boehner's party had control of both the House and the Senate in 2007 and 2008. Such memory lapses seem to be another "inconvenient truth".

VP Biden has a different recollection of the 8 years that George Bush was President. As I recall, Democrats had full control of Congress for the last 2 years of the Bush Presidency. They controlled the purse strings and the legislative agenda. For Mr.Biden to claim that John Boehner and his Republican colleagues ran the economy into the ground the 8 years that George Bush was in office is just not factually correct. The economy started to slump after Democrats took the reigns of Congress.

For those of you who are so obsessed with the “tax cuts for the rich”, you are ignorant to how the economy works. The “rich” really boil down to employers. Employers are working to make what’s called a profit. Therefore, they adjust their credits and debits so a profit can be made. One type of debit is employees. Another is taxes. There is a finite amount of corporate money that can be spent on operations. That money is called a budget (foreign term to democrats). If a company is forced to spend it on taxes, then the corporation will have to cut costs in another area. The area with the most flexibility is the help (employees). Conclusion, as taxes go up, jobs go down or remain static (no hiring). So go ahead and push to raise taxes on the rich and push you job out the door.

So Joey Biden says that democrats have nothing to fear in November. Voters won’t vote Republican. Hmm, that is not what all the polls are saying. Barry’s poll numbers are plummeting. The democrat congress poll numbers are in the cellar. Is this the same Biden who beat the drums for an Iraq invasion, only to want to cut and run; and divide the country into three? Is this the same Joey Biden who didn’t want the surge, but now takes credit for the accomplishments of our brave service personal? The same Joey Biden who used his so-called foreign policy expertise to get the Iraqis to agree on a coalition government? Is this the same Joey Biden who began the summer proclaiming it the summer of recovery, but now only cries with Barry this was supposed to be the summer of recovery, the summer of recovery.

Unemployment is up. Total employment is down. The stock market is down. GDP is down. Home sales are plummeting. Consumer confidence is down. Spending is up, up and away! Deficits are at historic highs and sucking up private capital. We have a president who bows down to non-Western monarchs and kings; but kisses up to third world thugs like ahmadikejad and hugeo chavez. Seems to me that everything that should be up is down, and everything that should be down is up.

Mr. Biden has been perceived as an open mouth, insert foot buffoon thorughout his career. Why? Mainly because he is!

So once more, a short civics lesson.

Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress, and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democratic Party. They controlled the budget process for FY 2008 and FY 2009, as well as FY 2010 and FY 2011. In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.

For FY 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the FY 2009 budgets.

And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete FY 2009. Let's remember what the deficits looked like during that period: (below)

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the FY 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets. If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.

In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.

Mr. Biden, I suggest you take your head out of your shoes and go buy a new compass because you have no idea what the right direction is if you think we're headed there right now. Slow recovery? According to Obama's White House Budget, Bush's tax cuts for the rich out preformed Clintons in generating federal tax revenue. Personal income tax revenue rose 34.55% and Corporate income tax revenue rose 42.78% compared to Clinton.

If you look at the National Debt Democrats created $9.84 trillion and Republicans created $3.92 trillion. Democrats also created a $107 trillion in unfunded liabilities for Social Security, Medicare, and Mediaid, and Obama has committed us to an added $9.7 trillion in taxpayer debt.

Look at every state, and major city owned by Democrats. They are broke.

Listening to Democrats complain about Republican economic policy is like listening to germ complain about disease.

Why doesn't someone ask Biden who was in control of Congress the last two years of the Bush presidency?? That would shut him up real fast. It was the dems in control of Congress, ALL of Congress. Congress either says "yay" or "nay" to every penny spent and every law. And now, the economy is at it's worst ever, since the dems have taken control of the White House and Congress. Here's a real stimulus plan. Read carefully and check this out for yourself.
A loan originator, predatory lender, bank, etc... made you a loan for your house. Just before the ink was dry, they've already sold it to a servicer or brokered it to Wall Street. Servicers run what's called "bankrupt remote" organizations, or they exist on their own, but these organizations always take the loan from the lender and package them, with several thousand other loans, and "securitize" them with Wall Street. What this means is, the Banks "SOLD" the loans with the deeds (for cash technically), to Wall Street investment portfolios. Legally, this rout creates cash back (liquidity) for the banks to loan more money and we have a booming economy. It's a good thing for the economy, but not if there are fraudulent loan companies. Recorded as a "True Sale" to Wall Street, the lenders no longer own the note; they can't legally foreclose if they don't own the note. It's called Beneficial Interest, the banks will replace the word lender with Investor. Lenders usually keep the note, (the old days) but investor means it's SOLD and lost to the lender; look up MERS Mortgage Electronic Registration System. Okay, now that you have this real situation in your head, lets add some more crap, and then the stimulus plan.
Defaults by borrowers on their notes triggered a payoff by AIG, the insurance company with a paid up policies by Wall Street investors to guarantee your payments from default. Get it? So far the banks were paid by the investors, and the deed moves up the chain, then AIG pays off on the defaults to investors. Say TARP Troubled Asset Relief Program. We know that TARP paid AIG off for the defaulting loans, and TARP is TAX Payer dollars! Technically we taxpayers own the homes. So my plan is, we don't pay back TARP through our Taxes, just give us our house back. Obama wants to redistribute wealth to the middle class, so here's his chance. No One lost money on our homes except we little home owners.
The next Fraud you will come to see is in the FORECLOSURE. If the Banks don't own the notes, how can they possibly foreclose on a home? There are about 62 million homes in this situation. It's out there, look it up. Some smart lawyers are figuring out that the banks can't prove beneficial interest. The Substitute Trustee (usually the foreclosure lawyer) tries to show up in court, on behalf of the "lender" who gave the lawyer power to sue you with foreclosure sale, but they don't have the note with all the signatures and assignments, notarized, and recorded to prove they have standing in the home. Can you say FRAUD? Many foreclosures in some courts are getting thrown out by judges who are tired of the crap. Some are throwing them out with prejudice, meaning "don't come back" and they give the home to the borrower. Some judges are telling the lawyers/banks to get out, stopping the foreclosure and please come back when you have the note. These people just stay in their homes without paying a mortgage. Look it up, it's for real!
Banks are trying to use blank endorsements (fraud) given to them by the loan originators early on, so they can pull out these blank endorsements when we default. The endorsement is supposed to prove a chain of title to the house, except they already sold it. They (banks) want to grab the house back to try and re-instate their accounting in the home, so they can resell it, securitize it, profit on it, and do the whole thing all over again.
STIMULUS: Since TARP paid off the defaults, we should just let the homes stay with the owners free and clear. The IRS will want the "gift" tax, but gee whiz, that's cheap. At that point, we need to take out a loan on our homes, with piles of equity, to pay off the IRS. Money starts moving again, we get our jobs back, home inventories are instantly gone, building starts come back, etc...

The law simply states; 'Where ever the time , materials, and coincedences are right for matter to occur in the universe, then matter will occur there.'
This means that anywhere in the universe, the pieces are there for matter to occur, then it will happen. Once you understand this LAW, then you can replace the word matter, for any word you like;
water, cities, good govt., war, girraffes, insects, love, hate, business, retail, money, economic growth, etc. Consequently, because of this law, 2 more laws can be written.
the 2nd law then states, that you do not need extra anything, no more ingredients needed; just enough, and boom!;; matter will occur there.
Thus the 3rd law states that,
' if you take away any of the materials, timing or circumstances, then matter will not occur.
Democrats just do not understand any of these laws, since most of them have never worked in the private sector, and that last one, just really makes them scratch their head.
So let me ' splain ' it to you Dems, if you make it harder for Economics, business, money , tax revenue to occur, because you put more onerous regulations and taxes on businesses, then economics, business, tax revenue will not occur.'

Since 2009, we have lost our jobs and we are barely able to pay our mortage which is only $1,400 a month. We are draining our savings. We pay them at the Check Out every time we purchase anything.
There is a 23% cost in every item at the check out for the cost of doing business in the USA.
The fair tax is the way to go. No more filling taxes. Everyone pays even those here illegally and the drug dealers get to pay too. how novel.
With a 23% sales tax which pays for even SSI and Medicare we would have more revenue to pay our bills. everyone gets a pre-rebate at the first of every month to off set yours taxes so you can use it anyway you want to but when that specific amount is gone you are on your own. the good news is the illegals will not get a pre-rebate so they will have to pay the full 23% for everything they purchase. WQe3 can even work for cash because there is no more INCOME TAX. Oh! I know our leaders won't like that no more control and lying every election year about who is going raise or lower our taxes.

Here we go again with the same old mantra.. how the Bush tax cuts weren't paid for, or increased the deficit. How stupid can some people be?

That line of thinking only works if you believe that all the money is the government's to begin with, and thus you have to pay the Government back for lowering the tax rates on individuals and business. But it isn't Government's money at all -- income belongs to the people who work and provide a service for a wage. When individuals and families have a larger percentage of their own income to spend as they choose, they will make the best decisions for themselves. And then, once the basic needs of the family are met, and if they have disposable income left over, they will return some of that income back into the economy by purchasing goods and services from others, starting or expanding business, etc.

Every day, men and women all over American make tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions of transactions, in our economy. Far too many than a centralized government could ever manage.

Note.. our Government could not organize a piss-up in a brewery, but I digress.

For almost every transaction made in America the Federal and State Governments take a percentage. In a sane world, Government would budget current and future expenditures not to exceed rational income expectations of the budgeting period.

So when an economy is growing, and people are working, there are more and more transactions made every day from which Government receives their revenue. A growing economy = growing revenue to Government.

Thus, there is no need to "pay" for a tax cut because as we've seen in the 20s, 50s, 60s, 80s, and 00s, when tax rates have decreased, revenue to the US Treasury has increased. Coincidence? I think not.

On the flip side, look at the states with the largest budget deficits. These are states with some of the most punitive taxes in the nation. Following the "logic" of economists like Paul Krugman and other Keynesian supporters, higher tax rates, and more government spending will drive the economy forward. Yet there is no empirical evidence to show that any society has ever taxed and spent its way to prosperity. None. Not a single example. Remember Rome? Nero?

Yet Biden, and others from his side of the aisle, along with a number of useless RINOs, prefer to play politics by pitting groups against each other instead of actually solving a problem.

Note #2: have you ever taken a look at how poorly many members of Congress have done in the private sector over the years? Based on the number of bankruptcies, failure to pay taxes, etc. I wouldn't give most of the a vote of confidence to run a lemonade stand.

The best thing Government can do is to provide a stable and consistent set of tax policies that are fair for individuals and businesses, and to ensure that tax rates not be confiscatory. Once those are in place, and business can predict where the economic winds in the U.S. will be blowing, and that they can conduct business without the fear of retribution or retaliation by Government because they don't like your particular line of business, and are assured that standard business practices such as bankruptcy, etc. will be followed (and not overturned by an Administration in favor of their political contributors) then the economic engine of the US will take off and right most of the problems that presently exist today.

People will have jobs, business will be able to expand, and we'll be able to restart the economic engine that is the US economy.

BTW, you can look up all the numbers yourself using published materials from the Congressional Budget Office.

Rob, try going to your employer and tell them that you need a bigger paycheck -not because you deserve it, but because you maxed-out your credit cards. That's what congress is doing to the taxpayer.

Saying that a tax-cut isn't funded proposes that the federal budget is pre-spent and whatever it takes to raise the funds, after the fact, is justified.

NEW YORK (CBS/AP) — A storm that curtailed outdoor activities for much of President Barack Obama’s vacation was forecast to end Wednesday, but he said he’s been able to fight off cabin fever.

Not only has he been able to sneak in two rounds of golf, but he told reporters Tuesday he’s “doing a lot of reading” at the farm compound he’s rented for the first family. “I’m having a great time,” he said.

The president made the remarks, his first in public since heading out on vacation last week, as he escorted first lady Michelle Obama from the State Road restaurant.

Obama has faced some criticism for his latest vacation, his sixth since taking office. At a time when painful unemployment numbers continue to bear down on the tattered economy, many are frustrated that the nation’s leader is enjoying another luxurious trip. On CBS’ “The Late Show” Tuesday night, David Letterman took a jab at the president, saying: “He’ll have plenty of time for vacations after his one term is up.”

The couple dined out for the second consecutive night, this time with Washington power broker Vernon Jordan and his wife, Ann, as well as Chicago friends Eric and Cheryl Whitaker. White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett also joined the group.

Fellow diners cheered the president and clapped as he left the restaurant. Obama paused for pictures and signed autographs. While Mrs. Obama wore a colorful print dress with contrasting sleeves, the president looked more subdued in khakis, a striped dress shirt and blue outdoor jacket.

Strong thunderstorms have lashed the island off Massachusetts since Sunday, causing power outages, curtailing air transportation and forcing ferry cancellations. They also triggered traffic jams and long lines at movie theaters, restaurants and other indoor venues.

The Obamas are scheduled to remain on vacation until Sunday, when the president heads to New Orleans to check on the gulf oil spill cleanup and to mark the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.

Second, without "mega-corporations" or big businesses in general, jobs quickly disappear. You see, that's where the really good jobs come from. Also, lots of jobs are created by small businesses. Many of these small businesses bring in over 250k of revenue and file taxes as individuals. The owner doesn't MAKE 250k, that's what the business generates before expenses are deducted. Understand so far? This revenue makes them "rich" in Obamaworld, and Obama, along with most of you, want to tax the rich. Guess what happens when businesses get taxed more. They quit hiring. Ta-da! So now you have very little hiring by any job producing entity. Remember, the government does not produce jobs. They don't produce ANYTHING. Third, without a robust wall street, the economy grinds to a screeching halt. This trifecta of economy inhibitors will quickly transform any country to a third world country. And while this administration pushes the country to the brink of ruination, millions of people will stand defiantly, with their hands held out, for more government largess. Why? Because they exist and they know in their heart of hearts that they are entitled to everything that someone else has worked for. I know I've wasted my time writing this post, but it had to be said. Producers, creators, and innovators have started to go Galt, and not a moment too soon in my opinion.
