Rove-backed Crossroads GPS targets Democrat in Pennsylvania Senate race

An independent political group formed earlier this year in consultation with Republican strategist Karl Rove and other party leaders will air a strong attack on Pennsylvania Senate hopeful Joe Sestak Wednesday.

The "issue ad" criticizes Sestak's support as a congressman for "Obama's big government health care scheme." It continues: "Higher taxes and premiums, fewer jobs, Medicare cuts. The Sestak-Obama plan costs us too much."

The ad is part of an expanding campaign by Crossroads Grassroots Policies Strategies, which does not have to reveal its donors, and sister group American Crossroads to influence the mid-term debate. The Pennsylvania buy comes on top of $2.1 million in similarly tough ads that started in recent days targeting the health care position of two other Democratic senate candidates -- Majority Leader Harry Reid and Missouri Democratic Senate candidate Robin Carnahan.

Other groups, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, have already run ads knocking Sestak for his health care vote.

It's not surprising that a war criminal/professional liar like KKKarl Rove is trying to swiftboat Joe Sestak. Trashing military veterans is what Republican draft-dodgers like Rove do best.

I hope Rove keeps wasting Republican donor money on trying to smear a military veteran like Joe Sestak because once PA voters get to know extremist Teabagger Republican Pat Toomey better the next couple of weeks, his poll numbers will start tanking.

PAT TOOMEY'S TRUE RADICAL RIGHT WING STRIPES:
"Toomey's voting record is as Conservative as former Senator Rick Santorum's, if not more. Toomey was a Wall Street investment banker in the late 1980s. He was head of the Conservative anti-tax Club For Growth, a far-Right Wing organization which seeks to evict Republicans that aren't Conservative enough and which called Collins "Comrade of the Month" after she voted to support the Obama stimulus package. His website touts his Conservative voting record and boasts about his 0% rating from the pro-choice group NARAL and his 'A' rating from the National Rifle Association."

America is now, officially, a greedyocracy, formerly known as a democracy!!

Oooooooo, a third-party ad against Sestak?!?!?!?! Oh my! Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!!!
How is it any different than the Third Party ads against Bill Brady? Mark Kirk? And I am sure there are third party ads against Pat Toomey. But we don't want to talk about those ads against Republicans, now do we?

No response to barry's jobs killing health care plan? Just more of the same from the leftys. Kill the economy then point fingers at the people that didn't get stoned during econ class.

BTW, barry's hand picked boy got trounced so now the libs have nothing to run on but lies and demonizations.

Way to go you brain dead libs, your policies have bankrupted Pittsburgh and Philly and your messiah is trying his best to nationalize the despair.

Hans and Franz,

I just love Wingnut selective memory whack-a-doodles like you, they must be shutting off the oxygen off in that Right Wing Noise Machine alternate universe that you live in nowadays or something. You just can't bring yourself to admit that it was your beloved elected Repugs who tanked our economy in the first place, can you?

Saint Ronnie Reagan Insider: 'GOP Destroyed U.S. Economy'

"Get it? Not "destroying." The GOP has already "destroyed" the U.S. economy, setting up an "American Apocalypse."

They skipped the econ class altogether. But, they did a great job of getting stoned.

I guess that's what we have: stoner economics. It should work, dude! Grow hemp, and everybody must have a windmill and a compost toilet. Who needs electricity, when you have incense and scented candles.

President Obama didn't have to kill the economy, it was dead upon his arrival in our White House!! 700,00-800,000 job losses in the very month, President Obama and Vice-President Biden took their Oath of Office on January 20, 2009. You can slice it, dice it, spice it and revise it, it still reeks of the Bush&Cheney incompetences, in all matters, presidential!! Silly Republicans-Libertarians-T.Baggers have this incredible delusion, that America is going to forget what the Incompetents did to our economy!! America isn't holding her breath, at the mention of Bush&Cheney, she's holding her nose. The B.S. covering the Bush&Cheney record is getting overwhelmingly ripe !!

Speaking of getting stoned in Econ class, PFUTZ weighs in.

The economy was 14 months into a recession with BO took office, all BO had to do was give the job creators a little incentive to create jobs - like extending the Bush tax cuts and he would have been home free. Instead, he has a couple of Trillion dollar deficits and $500 billion deficits for as far as the eye can see.

Jimmy Carter is off the hook.
